Summary of reviews
The Origins Ginzing SPF 40 Tinted Moisturizer is a favorite among guests for its lightweight formula that provides a natural glow while offering sun protection. Many appreciate its ability to even out skin tone without feeling heavy or cakey. However, some guests have noted issues with the tint not matching all skin tones and occasional pilling. Overall, it serves as a versatile product for daily use, combining moisturizer, sunscreen, and light coverage.

Not for light skin tones

I have been searching for a tinted moisturizer with spf to wear during Florida summers. I was really hopeful for this product because I have loved other Origins products in the past. My skin tone is light neutral. This tinted moisturizer was pretty dark and gave me an orange tint. I would guess that this should likely be used on light medium to dark skin tones. It was lightweight and smelled lovely, but just not for me.

This is great for a day for winery hopping, or any day you want a quick prep. It is not sweat/waterproof and does need to be reapplied if you are out in the direct sun, but for those errand days or light activities it is perfect. I never let it run out.

i love this stuff! its lightweight, blends nicely and makes my skin look so so good. however, if youre very fair skinned, this could leave you too orange.
Love, love, love this!

I used to love this product but it changed and looks orangey. It also rolls and sits in my creases making my face look cakey. I don’y understand why companies take a perfect product that works and destroy it by changing the formula. Hoping I can still return it. Not buying Origins anymore. Besides they discontinued most of their makeup and the large retailers who give makeovers no longer stock this brand.
Love it!

I've used this for years as my foundation. It has just enough coverage and leaves a nice natural finish. SOooooo many other foundations/ bb creams/ etc always used to separate on my cheeks, but this never does.
I do buy this product again & again &again PLease !

Used on my husband with rosacea, light pinkish skin tone. Hid the redness nicely and subtly. It settled a bit on his undereye lines, i put some eye cream to moisturize and blend. He's bad about skincare but needs spf daily. The added skin tone evening was a nice plus.

I like Origins, but I can't recommend this product. I have fair to light skin tone, and the color of this product was too orange for me. I wish it came in various shades to match your skin, but it doesn't. If I could return it, I would. Don't waste your money on this, seriously.
subtle but very impressed with this sunscreen

I used this after my skincare routine and went about my day.. the first time I looked in a mirror I stopped *wow my skin* ... it gives a minimal amount of coverage to just even out the skintone and a nice glow.
New higher SPF formulation is not for melanated skin

I used the SPF15 version of this very happily for years! That formulation seems to be gone, now replaced with this much higher SPF. As a person with melanated skin, I agree with the commenter below that this higher SPF formulation puts a white-ish cast on our faces that is not flattering and feels drying. Please bring back the SPF15 version, or create something different for medium to darker skin tones. This was my go-to every day and I'm definitely a bit disappointed. Still giving it three stars because those with lighter skin tones might still like it.
Draws attention to all of your wrinkles and pores

This looks ok in the mirror, but in natural light/photos it looks terrible. Like I said in title it really draws attention to every wrinkle and enlarged pore. Not for larger pore or early wrinkle skin, in my opinion.

I been using Origins Tinted Moisturizer for 3 years now. I love it, the formula is consistent, it is buildable for fuller coverage, and sets well with a powder. Highly recommend. I have a fair complexation and combo/dry skin.

I reluctantly bought this because of an Ulta employees recommendation. Boy am I glad I did. It goes on so perfectly and somehow blends in to my skin, which is on the fair side. It doesn't settle into fine lines at all. It looks like my skin but better.

As a redhead with freckles and sensitive skin this is my favorite tinted moisturizer. You only need a small amount for full face and neck coverage. You can apply it like sunscreen quickly in the morning and it will last all day even after mild exercise. It's tinted enough to protect my face from sunburns and cover my red spots, but also light enough so my freckles can show. Maybe not the most moisturizing - if you prefer a dewey look, then I recommend Origin's Perfect World lotion with SPF.

Vitazing was signifciantly better

I loved the old Vitazing forumula. The replacement Ginzing is nowhere near as good. The formula has a thicker consistency, more like sunscreen than a moisturizer. The tint makes my skin orange instead of giving it a natural glow. The only way to avoid is to use the tiniest bit, which doesn't cover my whole face easily. So, unless I want to look like I'm wearing a bad spray tan I no longer feel protected from the sun. The only positive is it's still the only formula to not give me cystic acne when wearing. Please bring back Vitazing!
