The quality isn’t even close to what it used to be. I purchased this exact case a few years ago for my 8 Plus. The old case was twice as thick and also the plastic was smoother. The plastic on this case is rough. I put the MagBak case back on my phone and stuck this one in a drawer. Also the magnet is crap. Based on this experience, I probably won’t buy another Otterbox case. For the money, it’s not worth it.

Not comfortable with this product at all. Always had the defender case. Defender case I was very comfortable and felt that my phone had maximum protection if I were to drop my phone. Defender case I could have a firm grip. This case is slippery and I’m very concerned if and when it slips out of my hand will it protect. I do like the sleekness but not comfortable with the protection.

I just got a new iPhone 13 max so I purchased a new cover. I have used OtterBox for several years. The design is sleek but my phone is protected. I don’t care much about the cute phone covers but I do want as much protection on my phone as possible without the bulk.

I have about 6 different otter box cases for my 12 pro max. The plain black symmetry was unavailable to ship to Canada and this year I was finally able to get one! This is easily my favourite case. It looks great, the protection is 11/10, and the MagSafe capability is awesome. I got the otter box MagSafe wallet as well which is a much better deal than the Apple wallet as it holds more and has a cash slot (and is cheaper too!). I’ve had nothing but great experiences with any otterbox product I’ve used and always recommend it to my customers as well!

I had the symmetry case for other my iPhone 11 Pro Max and my 12 Pro and I loved how nice and snug it was on my phone and how good it felt in the hands. It’s one of my favorite cases but unfortunately, it’s not the case for my 13 Pro Max. It’s a loose fit around the buttons and an extremely loose fit around the lightning port. It’s definitely not the snug fit I’m use to with the symmetry case. I’ve never had an issue with Otter Box cases but I’m just not happy with how this case fits on my 13 Pro Max. Hopefully, it won’t be a headache to return because I definitely plan on returning it. It cost too much, not to return it. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this case for your iPhone 13 Pro Max.

Great quality and fit. Very durable and it protect she phone. This is my first time trying out MagSafe and I love that feature too. I had a symmetry case on my last phone as well and it held up for over 2 years so that his why I bought one for my new phone. I prefer the symmetry series because it gives you the protection we have come to expect from OtterBox with out the bulk of the defender series.

I got it before I got the iPhone 13 Pro Max came out and I’m just happy it fit it so well. The plastic on the outside kinda slippery so I am using it with a popsocket. Glad the case works with the MagSafe because I got a MagSafe popsocket. Overall happy with it.
It's an OtterBox...emphasis on the Box.

Perhaps I just got a prototype or first run of this case, but it's got some ridiculously sharp edges on the seem that runs all along the outer edge. The color was much more pure blue than what looked Navy-is on the web. My bad for not checking if night shift was on. Lastly, I have the Silver iPhone 13 Pro Max, and the "lip" of the case that holds it in along the front isn't uniform, so there are bright little flashes of silver along the edge in any kind of light. I should've gone for a clear case, lesson learned.
