Our Generation Holiday Celebration Set for 18" Dolls

I think this is the perfect gift to have during the holiday season. My granddaughter has an 18” American girl doll and she is going to love this. She has an elf on the shelf little doll from American girl that will go great with this.

My granddaughter was so surprised to receive this for Christmas. It had been out of stock for so long. It is just as adorable as you might imagine and makes for a great addition to her 18" doll house. It's sturdy, very well decorated. The fireplace not only lights with a real-life flickering effect, but also has all of the sounds of a crackling fire. The christmas tree lights up as well, so this set will be much loved each Christmas and more. She has plans to use the fireplace in her ski lodge decor that she sets up for her winter sports-loving dolls. She especially loves the adorable stocking and the plate of cookies that can be left out for Santa along with some carrots for the reindeer and a note to Santa, just like what happens in her house.

Very cute set but a few things that bother me for the price. Tfirfireplace has nothing on top, unless that's how ours came and the picture for the fireplace won't stay without popping off every few minutes, so I may need to glue it.

Set is so cute and it was delivered quickly

Super cute set but the packaging was a nightmare. It took me at least 15 minutes to get it out of the box. It was excessive; tape over zipties and so much plastic covering everything..

This item was purchased as a gift , the demo batteries leaked inside the battery compartment causing rust on the springs , I reached out to battat and there customer service department where they asked me for multiple pictures of rust , item numbers , codes , proof of purchase after completing all these things they told me my product was no longer under warranty and refuse to send me a replacement fireplace as my daughters never worked from day one ! I am very dissappointed with battats customer service , it’s a plastic overpriced toy they make millions the least they can do is stand by there product . If anyone from target or battat would like to address this problem with me I would more than happy with a replacent for my daughter otherwise , I would not recommend this product or company as they clearly don’t stand behind there product .

Received with a rotted spring. Given as a gift to the kids from their elf, so having to return before a replacement is sent is really not helpful. They should consider shipping without batteries inside.

Thus set us just adorable and I hope my granddaughter loves it!

It’s cute. Would have been nice to have ornament hangers. It’s hard to put them on and they just fall off soon after. Plastic gift boxes instead of paper boxes would have been good also, especially for a $60 item. Guess toys just don’t have the quality they used to.

this is really cute, it's a Christmas gift for my 6 year old daughter I think she'll love it. However I think for $50 it should come with more accessories, the tree lights and fireplace sounds are a nice touch, but you should get more for the price.

I overall really love this set! It's festive, well-made, contains a lot of items, and everything is so detailed! But I do have some issues: -The painting is nice in and of itself, but oddly summery; a strange choice for a Christmas set. Also, the painting "hook" is too short to hang much else by it; I ended up having to glue the bow I used instead directly to the fireplace -I wanted more than 2 hooks to hang stockings by (as you can see, I added one on my personal set, using part of a chopstick, some brown paint, and glue) -The white star tree topper looks kind of cheap; it has a little bit of glitter that isn't as obvious in the promo photos, which I'm not sure helps or hurts the overall effect (I ended up painting it silver) -As others have pointed out, the chimney being open at the top makes it seem like it's missing a piece -The red, white, and blue ornaments look a little Fourth-of-July-ish; I think red, white, and gold would have worked better. However, the biggest disappointment by far is that the fireplace and the tree both turn off automatically in under five minutes (the tree stays lit for approx. 3 minutes and the fire for approx. 2 minutes, according to my stopwatch), even once Try Me mode is disengaged. I understand that small children can easily forget to turn off their toys and drain the batteries, but I feel there should be a way for adults who want to use this set for display to disable the auto shutoff. And heck, even for children's playtime, it should really stay on for at least 10 minutes.

it is such a well constructed item, as are all Our Generation items. it was really cute and lifelike.

How is perfect is this set? Between the Christmas tree and the fireplace. I cannot decide what I like best. My daughter and I had so much fun putting up Christmas decorations in her dollhouse.

This was a hard set to get, but I just checked daily on the website until it came up as a few left for shipping. I'd keep checking if you're wanting to purchase. I honestly felt this was a good amount of stuff for the price. The box was a lot larger than I expected. The fireplace seems pretty solid. I did think it's weird that the fireplace is open at the top, lol I mean I know that's how fireplaces are but there is a partition in it. It almost seemed like it was missing a top piece. Also, the fireplace turns on and off with a button, but the tree button only works to turn it on and it has to time out to turn off (five minutes or so). I would like the option to control how long it's on. Also agree that it's weird how loose the tree is, so once you set it somewhere you probably won't want to really move it... And the ornaments are hard to get on (you will end up poking yourself). Overall though... It looks awesome in the dollhouse, and would probably be very cute in any large dollhouse. The fireplace can be used year round too. I'm hoping to find a cardboard box that fits the tree so we can easily store it.

My daughter loved it but very expensive for what you get. She has quite a few sets and this is the one that you get least for your money. It arrived quickly in the post.
