Q: I would love to know when/if the issues notes in the reviews are remedied. We'd love to purchase but I want to make sure we get one that actually works properly. The price is too steep otherwise.

I was so excited for this room to come and when I received it , it was cracked on one wall and it doesn’t even have a sound to it. I changed the batteries twice and they were new. It’s $150 in the garbage. It can’t be returned because I got rid of the box trusting all would be well since my family loves target 😞

Great set, but electrical features do not work

Unfortunately, I did not read the reviews before purchasing to realize that so many customers have had issues with the electrical part of this set. This was a Christmas gift for my daughter. She loved it regardless, but I was really bummed to learn that the sounds and lights do not work. It didn’t seem like the issue would be fixed by exchanging it for another set as it seems to be a common issue. Otherwise, it is a really nice set. My daughter has played with it every day since she got it.

I bought this online from Target and the sound effects are not functional. I replaced it at the store with an new one; the Target employees were very helpful. And Shocker... This one has the exact same issue. Now, I've read the reviews and know this is a known issue and we are being sold a defective product.

Non functional lights and sounds

My daughter saved up her allowance just to purchase this all on her own. Immediately after putting this together, the lights above the chalkboard didn’t work but everything else seemed functional until the very next day when neither lights or sounds would work. We tried troubleshooting with OG customer care but they didn’t offer any other advice other than disassembling and reassembling, which is when the everything stopped working. We even tried two brands of new batteries and nothing. This is especially disappointing for my 5 year old who has saved all summer just to have a $150 toy that doesn’t make it past the first 24 hours. We are definitely leery of all the other OG products now.

We bought this for our daughter’s birthday. It takes a moment to put it together and the panels snap securely into place. Unfortunately the sounds and lights don’t work at all and now we are in a quandary on how to disassemble to return. Target is completely unhelpful with trouble shooting this product. It is unfortunate this happened with a birthday gift as we have to pack it up when all our daughter wants is to play with it. Besides the power issue this is a really amazing product.

We finally received it two days ago and got around to putting it together today. It was super easy to put together and it came with batteries which was great! It is a pretty good size as well. My girls absolutely love it and went straight to decorating it with all the cute accessories it came with. The light on the chalk board lights up but we can’t seem to get the songs to play or the toilet to make the “flush” sound. Overall it’s great and they love all the small detailed accessories it comes with! It’s the perfect bedroom for a doll. I highly recommend! Thanks influencer for letting us try this product out.

I like that my daughter loves playing with it. My reason for 2 stars is because the lights don’t consistently work. I’ve tried multiple ways to possibly fix the light issue but it hasn’t worked. :( also, the mirror is really nasty. It doesn’t look like a mirror at all.

The bedroom set up is pretty cool pretty much as described but the whole electrical system is broken even with new batteries from my own stash they lights and sounds do not work and it says uper girl instead of super girl and one of the curtain holders is broken so one of the blinds are always open. I should have paid more attention to the reviews! Returning it isn’t an option so I guess we’re stuck with it now

This room is adorable. Very sizable and both my 8 year old daughter and three year old son love playing with it, with or without a doll. The company should stop putting electronics in these items or make them work individually. My engineer husband tried to rewire the piece to get anything to work to no avail. Company did respond to this complaint, but basically wanted to be in the room with proof it doesn’t work. Shame on you OG. This item is worth half its price at best.

The house is cute but after putting the whole thing together, realized the sound and lights don't work. I'm not returning the item as it's already put together and it's big. Disappointing considering the cost.
