I bought this for my unusually intelligent 14 month old pug. it took him about 10 seconds to pick it up and dump the tops and kibble out. I guess he wins. pug 1, toy 0.

I never used any type of puzzle like this with my dogs (10yr and 6yr Yorchons) The older one got frustrated easily but younger one kept at it until he finally picked up the bone with his teeth, then walked away with it leaving the treat for the other one lol. After a while he got the hang of it and enjoyed finding the treats. The older one eventually took his turn (I had to separate them for not sharing) and but again was frustrated when he couldn't get to the treats. This says level one but for smaller dogs getting to the treat may be a little more difficult. Overall it was a good purchase

This is a great puzzle to start with to see if your pup is interested. It’s a simple one but is still engaging. This was a great introduction to the concept of puzzles for my dog. Since this one I’ve bought some more challenging ones to try. But I like to go back to this one every once in a while because it’s quick and gives him the satisfaction of having completed a job. Love it !
