The Serta Overland Side Table brings valuable storage space to rooms of any size. This table has a large area for storage on the bottom shelf but is designed with a small footprint, allowing for easy placement in smaller rooms. In addition to the space on the bottom shelf that can be used to store taller items, the rectangular table-top provides space for room accent pieces including framed photographs, a favorite book or a table lamp. Q: What is the distance between the lower shelf and the top shelf? I'm trying to fit something in there. Also, is it real wood and susceptible to water stains? Thanks!

A: Hi! The distance between the lower shelf and the top shelf is 16.75 inches. The wood is manufactured wood. This product is mosture-resistant, not water-resistant. I hope this helps!

Very sturdy table and exactly the asthetic I was looking for. It was a little ticky getting the screw holes lined up but I was able to get it assembled without issue.

The table came with a screw missing.. while fixing a nail came off.. we were in such packed schedule.. fixed everything on our own. Not recommend
