The back of the chair has no cushion to it (almost feels hollow when you lean back on it). For as wide as the chair is, the depth of the seat itself is doesn’t match up. Overall this is not a chair you can curl up in and read (which was the intention behind this purchase). This is being returned.

Please allow us to explain that our chair does not come with an additional cushion because the backrest itself is already designed with foam padding which is intended to provide a comfortable back support experience for our customers. The seat depth is 20.5", which is clearly indicated on our product page. This depth is designed based on ergonomics, ensuring a comfortable sitting experience. Additionally, the chair is designed as a recliner and comes with a footrest to provide extra comfort for your legs. The product is intended to accommodate both sitting and reclining postures. Therefore, if you plan to use the chair for these purposes, it would be an ideal choice, as these two postures were the original design intentions. However, we understand that you have different needs, and in the future, we will consider the need for curling up and strive to offer products that meet a wider range of requirements.
