Q: why can you only use cold liquids in it
A: So you don't burn yourself.

submitted byno name was shared - 2 months agoA: Sorry about the rude answer before, but I would assume it's because of the plastic pieces inside Overtime warm/hot liquids would warp the plastic whereas cold wouldn't. Hope that helps!

Q: Does the straw come out? And can you use it without the straw?
A: The straw can be removed and still be useable.

The straw can be removed during use, but this will eliminate the sip option that makes the Owala FreeSip bottle so great!! Q: Can the straw be removed permanently if I never intend to use it, without losing the chug (non-straw-sip) functionality?
A: Honestly I didn’t think I’d use the straw function either but I ended up really liking having the different choice. Give it a shot!
