The OXO SoftWorks Citrus Squeezer was inspired by traditional hand juicers with intuitive insides, so you won't waste time fumbling with fruit. Just place a halved lemon or lime face down in the bowl and squeeze the pressure-absorbing non-slip handles. Haven’t used it yet, but just noticed some defects right after i unpackaged it. There’s a drip of enamel that left a very sharp edge in the hinge, and a spot on the bottom where the enamel already looks eroded. Otherwise feels sturdy.

Avoid. Toxic plastic and paint chips in our juice.....given to our kids and family. Unbelievable. Paint has been peeling off into our juice since day one. Trying to be healthy resulted in us getting sick.

It works well and is a generous size for all lemons and limes. However, after about a year of use, the yellow is peeling off. I’m throwing it away for fear the paint flakes will fall into my juice.

After a few months use this product paint is rusting. I would expect much higher quality from OXO and with in mind that this is a citrus squeezer. I will be replacing soon since even after scrubbing immediately after using and dishwashing the citrus acid is ruining the paint. always looks dirty now and not worth it, DO NOT BUY

Worked nicely for juicing lemons for cooking or adding a small amount of juice to drinks. I wouldn't want to use it for more than like 3 lemons at a time. Unfortunately, the paint started chipping, and I didn't like the idea of paint in my lemon juice, so I got rid of it. :(

I especially love the quality of the squeezer it will last for many years to come and it is quality coated, very sturdy. If you think the price is too high it is absolutely not it will last your lifetime and your children’s also. I recommend washing it soon after use because lemons are very acidic.

Bought this in 2019 because it was the only one at target. Asked why it was so expensive and they said OXO was considered higher quality. As you can see from the photos that certainly wasn't true.
