Q: How does it work on citrus? I need to use the peel for infusing flavor and don't want the white pith. Too hard with just a knife - I have had many difficulties. Hope this tool could work.

Why I love this peeler: The style is great. it swivels, the handle is not skinny, easy to hold, easy to clean, easy to peel. Now, I'm70+, have arthritis & neuropathy in my hands, & am left-handed. You probably understand why a properly shaped peeler is important with medical conditions, but being a lefty can be difficult as well. Hand tools are pretty much styled for the right-handed world & OXO gets that if you look at some of their other items. I have a bunch!. WELL, I was going to make a crockpot meal but couldn't find my OXO peeler, looked EVERYwhere, no peeler, panic! Since I was working on a Target order, I lsearched for OXO peeler, found & ordered the same one, & put crockpot idea on hold. Peeler arrived, thrilled because I now ... Murphy's Law, found the other in the last place I looked. after ordering this 2nd one. I now keep them in 2 places. Always on hand when needed.

My old peeler bit the dust and I picked this one up on a whim because it was the only one available at my local target. This thing peeled with ease, including my finger! 😂 One trip to the hospital later, and my recipe ended up coming out perfectly. Even though the Oxo peeler took a piece of my finger, this thing came out unscathed and unharmed. Dishwasher safe, durable, and SHARP. 5/5 stars! 😆

This peeler is comfortable to use. It has a soft non slip handle. It is very versatile to use as it can be used to peel both fruits and vegetables. It also has a potato eyer to remove bruised or damaged parts without needing to use another appliance. The blade is made out of stainless steel and hasn’t rusted. It is inexpensive, easy to clean and I’ve used this peeler for 3 years now and it has made prepping for meals easier.
