It’s very hard to get water out of. My 7 month old uses other straw cups and uses them very well, got this one because I forgot his water cup at home. Definitely not the best. I tried drinking from it and it was even difficult for me. Made my LO upset and he refused to drink from it. Save the $12 and get somehow else. Will try to return if possible.
Actually, truly leak proof

This thing is amazing. It does require a little biting down on the straw to allow liquid through, but my 10 month old figured that out the first day. And it actually, really, truly DOES NOT LEAK. The removable handles are also great, they can rotate but have some resistance so they don't rotate accidentally. the only downsides are that it's a relatively small volume (adequate for most littler kids that need the true spill proof aspect), and liquid can only be brought out when the cup is upright. (Some competitors cups have a flexible, weighted straw that keeps the opening at the lowest point in any position.) Very easy to clean, but you do need a small bottle brush for the straw. The outer straw is very flexible so can't hurt the user. Everything in the exterior is nice and rounded also, not gonna poke anyone that falls carrying it.

I returned this immediately. My daughter nor I, an adult, could get any water out of it. The straw is hilariously short too.

I loved the style of this cup, however that’s all it’s got to it. I was wondering why my baby was having such a hard time drinking out of it. I then tried and after a while finally realized you have to somewhat bite or squeeze the straw for anything to come out of. Shouldn’t be that complicated for a baby cup.
Perfect starter cup!

This cup has been perfect for us! My son started drinking out of it at 6 months with NO learning curve. Took to it right away. We’ve had two cups for 6 months and they’re both still in excellent condition. He drops them frequently but no cracks or other damage so far. I don’t understand the negative reviews because this is a great cup for brand new straw drinkers! I’m sure we’ll transition once he becomes more mobile and able to drink out of other sippy cups but I highly recommend these to any baby 6+ months old!

Not baby/toddler friendly. Very hard to drink out of. Makes them frustrated and a lot of work to get little water. And expensive for the inconvenience

I made the mistake of not checking reviews while I was shopping in person. Purchased this excited for my LO to practice drinking out of a straw cup. Took me a few weeks to realize it wasn’t that my LO didn’t know how to but that the straw is not baby-friendly, or even adult-friendly. I tested it out myself and barely anything comes out. Do not recommend.

It is VERY difficult to get liquid when sucking through the straw. As an adult, I found myself only able to get a few drops.
Has valve.

I bought this cup because I’m an OXO fan and the plastic was thick and it looked great. The issue here is the valve on it is actually really hard to suck from and that’s just not a good cup. If you are looking for a non valve cup or one that is super easy to suction this is not it and for the price don’t waste your time.

Should have looked at the comments before i bought it. Its so hard to suck anything out of the straw. I tried it myself and its hard. Would not buy again. I like that it has a lid but my baby dropped it and the lid fell off!! What was the point of the lid if it just falls off? Its cute though

Sleek design but not practical for children. My 22 month old could not drink out of this, so I tried myself and it was even difficult for me!

Loved the design. I like that you can close the lid but NOTHING came out. I tried sucking on it myself and it was super hard. It went straight to the trash after a few attempts.

I initially loved this cup for my son but it leaks standing up. I’m not sure how that’s possible but there is always a puddle underneath it

I purchased this cup for the design of it. It claims to have a straw which would be easy for baby to use, but very hard to have something come out of it, unless baby sucks very intense.

My baby has never used a straw before and I didn’t want to do sippy cups. So i got this cup for him and he got it right away! It has never leaked for me and it is very durable (he has thrown it lol) . I love how you can close the straw.
Served it's purpose but..

We have used these cups for quite a while now, and they served their purpose. I like that they have measurements on the side and handles for my toddler. However, we are finding that the straws just don’t hold up. They slice at the top where the spill-proof seal closes and leaves a hole. They do occasionally leak, not all the time. We’ve already bought a pack of replacement straws one time and now we need more…so needless to say we will not be purchasing any more of these.
