Pandora Music Gift Card (Email Delivery)

The Pandora Music Gift Card is issued by Blackhawk Network (Giftcardmall/giftcards.com). It processes like a generic Visa card, but can only be used on Pandora's website. As mentioned in the other review, this card cannot be added to an account as a secondary/alternative payment. It must be the primary payment method on an account that is currently expired (i.e month-to-month). If you already paid for a year of service, you must wait to use the card. However, this also means you will have leftover credit on the card because the card cannot be combined with another payment option to wipe the balance. It may be possible to contact Pandora directly the process the remaining balance, but I will have to wait several months before attemptig. Unforunately, there are no customer service contacts on the included directions. Card balance inquiries must be done on merchantgiftcard.giftcardmall.com. Make sure you save the e-mail with the code.

Pandora's redemption process for giftcards is completely ridiculous. You can't add a giftcard to your account until your subscription expires; then, assuming you can find your giftcard (or remember you even have one) after all that time, you can try to figure out how to apply it. But you can't do it on the app; you have to go to the website and fumble around there. Oh, and there is no obvious way to add a giftcard to your account; you have to pretend it's a credit card and add it as a payment menthod that way. And don't bother trying to find a support phone number if you need help - there isn't one! Odds are you'll just give up and toss the card or forget about it, which seems to be just want Pandora is hoping for!
