Terrible they changed the product to sheer and it's absolutely horrendous it made my hair extremely dry and some of my hair fell out and it made me sneeze but the body and volume was absolutely luxurious and it made my hair soft and made my hair grow and gave my hair volume and thickness I'm upset that they changed it to sheer I noticed the difference so quickly and it made me upset because why ruined such a good product now I have to find another shampoo and conditioner that works as good as the pantene body and volume or find the one that says body and volume and not sheer somewhere online and what else made me upset is that the ingredients looks the same I just think they didn't add the missing ingredient to the list or they added too much of the ingredients that's causing those issues. they need to change back to body and volume ingredients.

I have 6 daughters, so we go through a lot of hair products. We settled on the Smooth and Sleek shampoo and also the conditioner. It was our favorite--everyone's hair was so smooth and shiny. What happened? There must've been a formula change. Now I would label it as Curly and Frizzy. Please bring back the old formula. We're going to have to switch brands. So sad!!

I’ve tried them all…bond repair, curly/wavy specific shampoos and conditioners. Even high-end, supposedly clarifying ‘hair cleansing creams.’ Used this shampoo and conditioner this morning, followed with curly hair mousse (and lots and lots of water to keep hair ‘squish to condish’ moisturized…wow…diffused and best wavy day hair EVER. I need a cleansing shampoo and nourishing conditioner and this blew me away! Encouraged wave…I was a little worried after adding curly hair mousse…thought my curl clumps (wet) looked too small and stringy. Wrong! After diffusing, I couldn’t have been more happy. Buying large pump bottles this weekend! Expensive doesn’t always equal better!

I bought 2 bottles of Pantene Pro V Volume Shampoo. It has a clear color and after 2 months it discolored! I searched for a way to provide feedback and/or contact customer service but only find this review section. Please advice as I have used this shampoo for years and never had this happen until now. Pics attached.

I used Pantene Volume and Body Shampoo for 1-2 months and loved how well it cleansed my oily roots. However, 2-3 days ago, I started experiencing itching at the back of my scalp. After researching, I found that Methylchloroisothiazolinone and Methylisothiazolinone, known as the “itchy M’s,” can cause reactions. I discontinued use, and since switching to L’Oréal, the itching has stopped, leaving only slight redness compared to how it was, so I suspect the reaction was from the Pantene shampoo.

I’ve tried the… sleek line? I believe it’s called.. before and taht worked nicely. Clean and smooth hair. However, on my first use of this line my scalp began to ache an hour later. Perhaps it’s too strong? Anyways, I think it performed the same as the sleek and shine (?) line, but this product made my scalp hurt.

There should be no reason that it's gone cloudy as I can understand it. doesn't make sense to me. I've used clear volumizing for years & this has never happened before. OH MY GOSH. This is THE best shampoo I’ve ever ever used ever since Redken, living proof, pureology, this Pantene is better than any salon brand I’ve ever used, and yes I know it has silicone and sulfates, but most salon products do to, so as long as you use a clarifying shampoo every maybe momth, then you will be fine using silicones and sulfates, and I have struggled and struggled because every single sulfate silicone free shampoo conditioner I’ve bought including salon brand, made my hair EXTREMELY itchy, dry, and brittle.. so I’m telling who ever is reading this review to just get it, don’t listen to other..if it works for you.. GET IT. PLEASE GET THIS PANTENE GUYS THEY SAVED MY HAIR!!! I hope this helps xoxo💘

I am so thankful for Abbey Yung for recommending this shampoo! I literally cannot stop touching my hair! It is so soft, and voluminous! It lathers sooo good on the first application. I usually have to go in a second time to get that good a lather! I have been using more expensive shampoos for years.. but no more! this is a thousand times better, and a lot less expensive!

Who asked you to change it? The product is good, customers are happy and buying it, why do you feel the need to change the formula? If it’s good, just leave it the way it is!!!!! As a loyal customer why do I need to experiment every time with new products that are less good? If you want to create a new product, then great, go for it! But don’t change the one that I like and have been buying for years!!!! I want a good product that works for me!! I couldn’t care less about new formulas that you would like to experiment with!!! The Pantene Argan Oil Shampoo and Conditioner (10080878075871) are working great! The new version is terrible!!! It makes your hair frizzy!! Now I need to pay an overpriced amount on the secondary market for the previous version only because you think that a new formula was needed which happens to be terrible!!!!

It may help to know that frizz is most commonly associated with not using the right product for your hair type, or not using enough conditioner. To prevent frizz in the future, we recommend using a richer conditioner, leaving it on your hair for up to five minutes with more focus on the ends of your hair, try using a leave in conditioner instead of one you rinse out, and even trying a conditioning treatment two to three times a week.
