Q: How do you reload new lead into the Pencil--I must be stupid
A: Just pull the top off and there is a hole. ( don’t pull the eraser ) just the top part of the pencil.

Lead can be loaded through the back of the pencil by removing the clip. Simply pull out the clip (which holds the eraser) to add lead into the lead refill tube.

submitted byJo - 7 years agoA: Hi, Tex! To refill the lead of Paper Mate Clearpoint Mechanical Pencil, unscrew the top of the barrel (colored part of the pencil) and insert the new lead. Screw the top portion of the barrel back. Click the pencil a few times to advance the lead.

Q: some of your paper mate mechanical pencils say multicolor and some don't. What is the difference?
A: It really just depends on the buyer, some would prefer multiple colors and others prefer singular colors and the really is no difference but the color.
