Q: How do you load lead into Papermate clearpoint lead pencil
A: it's very easy - the whole eraser cap can be taken off for refilling.
submitted bysim - 8 years agoA: rather than pull out the eraser, you have to pull off the whole back end, which, I think, is always the plastic part that is colored and includes the clip that says "papermate." hope that helps.
submitted bykathleen - 8 years agoA: Hi, Herb! To refill the lead of Paper Mate Clearpoint Mechanical Pencil, unscrew the top of the barrel (colored part of the pencil) and insert the new lead. Screw the top portion of the barrel back. Click the pencil a few times to advance the lead.

Q: Does the grip and/or eraser contain latex?
A: No, neither does. I am very sensitive to latex (not quite a full blown allergy but close) and these are the only mechanical pencils I will use.
submitted byliza - 7 years agoA: Hi, Marie. Any product offered by Paper Mate that is latex-free will have the latex-free claim prominently displayed on the packaging and/or disclosed in the product details on the website. If you do not see the latex-free claim, we cannot guarantee that the product has not been exposed to latex in the manufacturing process.
