submitted byImani - 6 years agoA: My desk came with instructions and it was the easiest one I have ever assembled. The drawer is already done and in tact with the top of the desk. All you will assemble are the legs and support bar. Super duper easy!

submitted byAnything - 4 years agoA: The last answer is wrong. You need a Philips head screwdriver for the cam lock system and to put the handle on the drawer. That said, I had to return this desk twice due to damaged parts. All ordered were site to store pickup. I would get something better if I were you.

However, this product does come with a anti-tip kit that we do recommend installing. Also, the desk has a max weight capacity of 70 lbs. Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Q: was very easy to assemble but now that I am sitting and doing work on it, it is very wobbly. checked all of the screws again and they are all tight but it still feels unsteady. is there a way to fix this? a little disappointed :(

Bought this desk because I needed a space to do work that wasn't my couch. It did the job for a short while. Didn't stay sturdy for long, and in my experience, trying to move this thing is a disaster. Tried to shift the desk over about an inch and everything started falling apart. The drawer broke off and fell, and now the top of the desk is uneven. It's gonna take more work than it's worth to fix properly. Can't afford a new desk though. Wouldn't recommend

Arrived damaged in 2 very noticeable places on the tabletop. I saw the other reviews and should not have ordered, but thought I would be the anomaly. I was wrong. Very sad, because I built the desk before realizing the damage so it will be a loss for me. I would encourage anyone else to look over the item entirely before building.

Nice design and fits well in our office. Unfortunately, the desk was banged and had a smash. Returning it would have entailed taking it down to the car and driving to target and carrying it in so I accepted a discount. It could have been packaged better

I really like this desk. It wasn’t super easy to put together but it also wasn’t impossible. It’s not the best quality by any means since it’s just wood composite but as long as you’re not rough with it, I don’t see why it shouldn’t last a while. I only use it for writing, reading, makeup, and crafting so it’s perfect for that. The drawer is also very deep and pulls out all the way which I like.

5/5 assembly instructions 3/5 product PRO I bought this to put in my super small room and was concerned about the length; however, it was not as big and bulky as I expected. The highlight was so easy it was to assemble. I bought a shoe rack from IKEA during the same period and the IKEA product was a pain to assemble, mainly because things weren't marked as intuitively. This table has fewer parts but everything was marked up with stickers so I didn't have to figure out which goes where. Super convenient. Even the tools were in separate slots with designated "steps" so I only had to open each tool when needed. CONS 1. The product arrived with some chipping, it's on the bottom of the drawer so I didn't care much, but if it was super noticeable and in a visible location it might bother me enough to return it. 2. Mediocre craftsmanship -- you can see gluing on the pieces, again it's on the bottom and out of sight 3. Biggest drawback: I ordered the espresso and it leaves fingerprint stains whenever I touch the desk. This is probably what going to bother me the most about the desk. Maybe it wouldn't be an issue if I went with a lighter color.

This is a bummer, usually target does a great job with their furniture. This says wood but it’s not. The legs are, the rest is particle board with laminate and not done well. It looks cheap. Was perfect for my space but between the fake look and the legs giving me a splinter right away I’m going to have to return. Sad

Love the cute look and I’ve had it for a few years now and it’s held up nicely; it looks just like new. My dislikes is that it is wobbly and the corners are sharp and dangerous but I put a clear rubber ( baby safety item ) to make sure no one would get hurt.

This desk has been with me for around five years, three moves, and a ton of use. I’ve used it almost daily. I open the drawer at least 20 times a day. I’ve had to tighten the nuts around three times, and that’s about it. The surface is scratched and stained from art, but it’s still a beautiful desk. I couldn’t recommend it more!

This desk has stood the test of time. I bought this in 2015 and still have it, it has been in 3 homes with me and after a few yrs and moving so much it became wobbly so I fixed it with some screw glue and good as new. Once i was asked if I was willing to give the desk away cuz it was so simple and that's what they were looking for i said nope! I paid $70 back then and it's still well worth the $130 price but use some screw glue and try not to move it around too much. I use it to build puzzles, for writing supply storage, and it got me through my undergrad and grad school. I love the open space up top and the fact that i could put my feet up underneath. So happy to see they started selling these again

I know you get what you pay for, but normally Threshold quality is good enough. The top and drawer are shipped together as one piece. The screws are super cheap and all sheared off. Luckily I had some small screws and was able to gently create new holes. I just didn't want to lug another big heavy bad purchase back to Target. I have a printer on this desk and it shakes way too much. Probably acceptable as a writing desk. The inside of the drawer peeled off with the safety sticker. Very disappointing purchase. Would not recommend.
