The bone shattered into multiple sharp pieces within a couple of minutes of my dog having it. My dog is a lab, so maybe it's not fit for large breeds. If your dog is even remotely an aggressive chewer, I'd stay away from this bone. Also, I was disappointed there was hardly any marrow in the bone. Overall, my dog liked the flavor of the bone, but with it breaking apart almost immediately after giving it to her, I had to throw it in the trash.

These used to be so much fuller and coated , now there is not much too them.

Love that it keeps my dog busy for hours and once she is done I can add to it and reuse

My dogs love them! Keeps them busy for a while especially when company is over.

The bone is hollow; it is advertised as having morrow in the middle if you look at packaging.

I bought three of these and two came perfect. There’s a bag that you tear the top off then, another plastic casing around the bone. One of my bags was intact but there was no plastic casing and the marrow in the middle was gone?? It literally was a used bone packaged regularly?? I do not recommend these because that just feels like contamination of some sort.

I’ve got a large dog that gnaws through most bones in less than an hour. If he’s chewing on elk antler it’ll last a day. It’s been two days and he still hasn’t even finished with the marrow. He just keeps licking at it and trying to get to it. I would definitely recommend this one.

My dogs love these bones but you need to watch your dog while they’re chewing it because as mentioned in other reviews pieces can break off. When that happens I throw away the piece that broke off and let my dog chew the remaining bone. We’ve given our dogs these bones for years and had no problems. Again - just watch your dog when they’re chewing it.

The new brand is not safe. They splinter very badly. Cost me a lot of money in vet bills.

Shattered into 10 fragments within 10 minutes. Not safe.

Do not give this to your dog. My dog developed severe GI distress after eating this and ended up in the ER.

We used to LOVE giving these to our golden! But in the last few months these have dropped in quality like crazy. Each bone splits in half, has a dangerous second piece connected to the bone, etc. such a disappointment. We’ll be looking for a new brand.

Pros: Good for picky dogs that need a long last treat or to help with dental issues. Cons: smelly and can be messy

Outstanding product. My standard schnauzer loves this for many reasons. It lasts days to sometimes a week. When I walk in the room he hides it from me. Lol

I gave this to my 6month old goldendoodle and this broke off 6 mins after giving this to her..this is sharp bone fragments that could injure them..just happy I didn’t leave her alone with it.

My dogs of course liked these- yes they lasted a while but once they’re chewed on they get chewed into bone shards. So just supervise your dogs

Too expensive for a ten minute of “long lasting play time” and a potential vet bill.

My dog loves this! He turned his nose up at milk bone comfort chews, collagen chews, old Roy PB filled chews (rectangle ones), and a water bufffalo horn. Took this bad boy out of the package and before it hit the floor he was all over it. He loves trying to chew the marrow out of the middle and bone marrow makes his coat so soft and shiny. I also feed him the milk bone marrow chews for this same reason and within a month his coat as a super gloss finish. There has got to be nutrients in marrow. It is greasy when you take it out of the bag. It does smell like a bone while chewing. You can smell it when you sit next to them. It has a slight odor but not like other bones I’ve tried. This will be a constant repurchase for me and my pup! One night with the bone and it still looks brand new. The photos posted were after an hour of him carrying it around (it’s pretty hefty, but it got it in his mouth). It’s like a big rib bone essentially. One photo is how shiny he is after eating bone marrow for a month. (Bone marrow, squirt omega oil on his food in AM, probiotic chews daily).

Bought this 2x- first one was great and only tossed because our doggo took it outside and it was covered in ants. Just got another one literally this am, and within an hour of her chewing it’s already splintered :( luck of the draw I guess

We have bought this product for years, and have always had good luck with it, but recently the last few bones we've bought have just SHATTERED. Not something that happened over time like you would expect but within an hour. Our dog is a moderate chewer- we have the same bones on our floor from 6 months ago where no pieces have been removed. The way the bone shattered is alarming as well, if we hadn't been watching her chew she could have absolutely really injured herself. I normally wouldnt write a review for something like this but its happened to mulitple bones and i love this product and im hoping its an issue that can be fixed!
