This coop is wonderful for the price. The actual house area is big enough for 6 hens but you could never leave 6 hens with just that run, you need to make an add on. Plenty of space for them to roost but they would go crazy in that small run all day. We are using it for our quarantine coop for the new chickens we just got and it's more than enough for them, they're bantams. Overall this is the Best Buy in this price range.

The coop came in two boxes. It was fairly simple to put together. It's been great for my 2 little pullets. They have been using the nesting boxes and there are 2 perches inside for when they get bigger. There is enough room to hang a water feeder. I added wire and concrete to the bottom to keep pests out, locks everywhere to keep secure from other animals at night, a plastic roof to make sure its waterproof and a clear coat to help the wood.

Super easy to build 90% of the holes are predrilled so all you have to do is line everything up and put the screws in!! Make sure to have a power screw drill makes it a lot faster took 20 mins to build and the chickens love it!! Gonna buy a second one.

I was so impressed with the way this was made and ease of putting it together that it deserves 5 stars for that alone. No substandard pieces of wood or fabric, predrilled holes and all the hardware make this a great product. The only negative would be 1) the single sheet of instructions still left a couple of trial and error steps to figure out. A suggestion would be that since the instructions show the panels and designate them with letters; "a", "b", etc. that there be a small sticker or mark on the panels themselves that have the corresponding letter so that they could be paired up with the instruction steps more easily. And 2) once the feeder and water are placed in the run, there isn't much room at all. The ramp takes up a good amount of space and the feeder and water take up a lot of space beside the ramp. I have two 1 year old hens and they seem happy but there just seem too crowded in space. I am planning on adding an additional run on my own. Until then, I just let them out in the afternoons to run in the back yard.

Great design, perfect for my 3 hens. It's a bit light weight, but we are using it in the garage as a temporary "vacation" coop, so it is not exposed to the weather. I will coat it with marine poly if I use it outside.

Item arrived in a timely mannered was pack well. Assembly was easy directions could be a little better. I wish it was more structurally more sound with larger frame pieces. I will reinforce some of the components to make it sturdy. For the price its good.

Chicken cool went together well, shipped fast, are 4 chicken's love it. This chicken coop is true to measurement but is far to small for 4 chickens to live in full time me added and 12X5 foot run.

Great little chicken coop. Really great price! Shipped really fast, had it on my doorstep in 3 days. Only complaint would be the directions were really vague. Took a lot of studying the directions to figure out a couple of the steps. Big enough for our 3 laying hens:) happy customer.

Very fast shipping from frugah. The coop is working out great for my purpose. I put it in our chicken run for my 5 baby chicks. Keeps them safe from hawks, and the older girls get a chance to get used to them being around.

Got here real fast and was easy to assemble all the parts were present. Would def order another and the pricing was excellent. Also the customer service thru email was rapid in response appreciate that. Love the fact it was from oregon my home state.

Coop came on time and in good shape, nothing broken. Goes together pretty easily--similar to putting together furniture from Ikea. Doesn't seem like it's extremely sturdy, however, and I don't know if it will be good enough for the Winter. Time will tell. Also, only big enough for 2-3 chickens max.

I wasn't sure what to expect, but this product is a good value. It was easy to assemble and looks very nice. I need to weatherize it for Texas summers, and anyone who lives in cold climates might want to insulate for the winters. But that still leaves me ahead, budget-wise, when considering other available hen houses.

I purchased this coop for my small backyard flock of three chickens. The size is perfect for my urban yard. Definitely seems smaller in person than it appeared in photos but it's fine for my needs. I plan to reinforce/replace the locks with something a little more secure/sturdy but overall it's a functional little coop for my ladies.

This coop seems like it will do the job needed! Our chicks are still too young to live outdoors in the coop, but we think it will make them very happy. The coop isn't made from thr best materials on earth and some parts are a bit flimsy, but a similar coop at our local feed store was more expensive for comparable quality. We are very happy with our purchase!
