If you've ever had a cat tree, you know the dangly toys never stay attached for more than a day. We hang other toys from the string that's left over, and found that if we put a long, weighted string on it, all four cats can play tetherball from all the different tiers of the tree, and the floor. We set it up next to our French doors so they can look out the window. It's come loose from the ceiling a couple of times, so make sure you tighten it off and on. Our big boy is over 14lbs and climbs like a bear.

Like another purchaser, I had to rearrange the parts to make it stable because even though I don??t have high ceilings, it was too short. But my cat loves it, and when I bring him a playmate I??m sure they??ll have a ball.

This was a little too short for the high ceilings in my old house. But I was able to easily reconfigure it to still be tall, but stable. Our 14 foster kittens absolutely love it!
