I needed a feeder for my ducks that would not take up floor space. These are perfect. Very easy to hang. Holds enough food to feed 16 without having to fill daily.

It's very sturdy and they fixed the shipping issues because my feeder came with plenty of padding to protect it. This is a better setup for ducks (I bought the another brands tall skinny plastic feeder first) because they are scoop eaters vs peckers. Yes, it's more expensive but remember it had to be made...then fly across the country...then get on a truck to get delivered to you. And also this is a business not a charity! So yah, they want to make a profit on the item they are selling. It's made out of sturdy metal that will hopefully last your lifetime.

This is a nice sturdy feeder. It's heavy when you put all the feed in it, however I usually only fill half way because I have to pick it up and take it in and out since I don't have an enclosed area to keep it. It's a good size so they can't knock it over which was the issue I was having. They can peck out a little bit, but not too much gets on the ground. I have two hens and two roosters and they are pretty big so all four of them can't fit into it, but I think some of it has to do with one hen and one rooster being bullies, so I do have another smaller feeder on the other side for the other two. The lid closes tight so even if it gets knocked over it won't open, but it will spill out from the bottoms. It is pretty waterproof, I had a hole in the tarp right over the feeders and they didn't get wet. Over all I'm pleased with this feeder and would buy another one if I needed it.
