My friend gave me this cause of the smell but it honestly doesn't bother me. Its not even an awful smell its just an awkward smell. You wont smell it after its on your face. Other than that, its very hydrating my skin looks and feels amazing after applying. Very glass skin like. Definitely does what it says it does!!

This cream is so thick and doesnt soak i to your skin. My skin feels worse from using it and it makes my redness works. Wearing makeup over it is impossible. Clogs pores. This conpany has great producys but dont waste money on this.

I love this moisturizer. I'm about to run out after using this every morning and night for 2 months straight and I cant get enough of it. I noticed people were saying it had a really strong smell, but it's not really that strong to me and it's not that bad at all. I kind of like it to be completely honest. I would recommend the rescue party barrier restore serum before it too if your skin is still dry. I have dry cheeks from rosacea and a very oily and porous nose but this and a lot of their other products still work extremely well on my whole face.

I got this as a sample and had to get a full size. This helps the eczema on my forehead soooo much. If you are used to unscented products, you will not mind the smell at all. So happy I found this and Peach and Lily!

I bought this in combination with the relief serum to see if it will help with my mild redness. I am not seeing much difference after about six weeks. I also feel like my skin is even dryer than when I started. I will try out their hydration specific products instead to see if I can get the desired results. I also can't belive how small the package is for the price. I almost thought it was travel size.

I have super reactive, sensitive skin. I was having a flare up from something and was getting desperate. I came across this moisturizer online when I remembered that I had a sample of this from a previous order. I figured my face is already freaking out so if it doesn't work it won't be much worse.. The sample is small but even after using just a little bit I could tell my face was starting to calm down. By the end of the day, I had ordered the full size and another P&L product lol. I don't know if I will use this everyday or just when my skin is freaking out on me but I am so grateful for this product! Anything that helps me get my face to calm down is a winner in my book. I am absolutely miserable when I get those flare-ups and in about 24 hours I am feeling much more comfortable and normal. Hopefully this continues to be a winning product for me. Oh and yes, there is a play doughy smell but it is not bad at all! It goes away very quickly. Frankly, if you care about the smell I don't think your skin needs this enough. I'd slather my face in dead fish to get my face to feel better when it's reactive and angry if that were the solution lol.

This cream does feel soothing and comforting to my skin that has been ravaged by the dry cold winter air. It does not smell nice but thats not a deal breaker for me because other natural products kindof have a similar smell. This cream does not play nice with liquid foundation so I only use it on no makeup days.

I am very sensitive to fragrance in my face products so I'm used to the way fragrance free products smell but this is a bit much. The cream is really good though. I just wish the moisturizers from this brand came in tubes instead of jars but thats just me.

I really this moisturizer but I can't get passed the smell. It's hard to explain, almost like a earthy or new paper or cardboard smell. It's strong enough to constantly smell it, even after wearing for hours. It becomes overwhelming. It's the only reason I'm rating it one star. I won't be able to wear it because I can't get passed the smell.

I received this as a free sample from Ulta. I tested this on the top of my hands and the texture was thick, creamy and seemed pretty nice. I noticed pretty quickly the bad smell coming from my hands. I dont usually mind scents in my skin care and makeup products but this is bad! I think Ulta and P&L need to QC check their product. Sorry, this was a deal breaker and it's heading to the bin. 🤷♀️

I first tried this product in a sample box that i recieved for christmas 2024 and the smell was pleasant. I used the entire jar, literally scraped every bit out. I was excited to try it again so i recently purchased a new one and this one has a weird wood/cardboard smell to it. I'm worried it could be a bad batch? Sucks because i really do love the product, but the new smell is very weird.

I never write reviews, but for this product i have to. This is phenomenal for people with dry, sensitive, acne prone skin. It doesnt clog my pores, but hydrates very well. It also doesnt feel sticky or too thick. It does kinda smell like clay, but at least its not fragranced. Anyway, Ive purchased this product 3 times now and fall in love with it everytime!

Im honestly shocked at some of these reviews. I've been using this moisturizer since they released it and I absolutely love it. I never notice any smell, nothing that would be off-putting anyway. It doesnt have much of a smell to me. I'm super sensitive to a lot of skincare and get breakouts/fungal acne because of it but this one has helped repair my barrier. It melts into the skin so nicely and doesnt take long to sink in. Never feels greasy, goes well under makeup and primers. Ive tried other moisturizers that just flared my skin up- this always always repairs it. I need to just stick to this and stop trying new things ha.
