About this item
The 3L, black Everyday Sling v2 from Peak Design is a compact, versatile carry option that can be worn as a waist pack or a sling. When used as a sling, the padded nonslip strap can be configured for wear over either shoulder. Designed to fit snugly against the body, the sling's zippered clamshell opening allows the main compartment to be easily reached. The interior divider can be configured to fit your needs and folds to cradle curved surfaces such as the grip of your camera with an attached lens. During use, the foldable divider enhances protection between those curved surfaces and adjacent items while minimizing the area between them for more efficient use of the main compartment.
Six pockets in the main compartment store and organize camera batteries, memory cards, or small electronics. An exterior front zippered pocket holds books, notepads, documents, or snacks. Attach a tripod, monopod, or packable clothing to the bottom of the sling using the exterior straps.
Featuring durable nylon construction, the 3L Everyday Sling v2 is built to be weather resistant. To further protect its contents should the bag be placed on a wet surface, the bottom panel is waterproof.

Been using this bag (10L version) for over 7 years as a full time wedding photographer and I absolutely love it. I’ve abused it, tossed it around, hiked in the pouring rain, and put it through all kinds of situations and my gear was always safe: I can fit my canon 5d mark iv, 35L, 50L, 85L and 135L along with multiple batteries, memory card pouch and a few other miscellaneous items. I’ve always hated the over the shoulder camera harnesses, so this was the perfect solution for me. The capture clip mounted on the side makes for a perfect place to stash the camera for a second without having to unzip the bag. And the clutch strap comes in “clutch”. I don’t normally leave reviews, but I was getting on here to order another one and thought I would throw out some props! Great products!

’ve always heard about the legendary quality of Peak Design products, but the Everyday Sling I recently purchased is out of this world. The design, functionality, and attention to detail are on a completely different level. If you’re looking for the best way to carry and protect your camera, you simply won’t find anything better on this planet. It’s comfortable, durable, and has all the right features to keep your gear safe. Highly recommended!

Great sling bag (6L) with a couple of things I wish Peak Design could change. One is the inside soft pockets found on the side. When I pack the bag and put my camera in (Sony A7R w a GM prime) the soft pockets keep getting pulled down. Two, I wish it had a bottle compartment, maybe try adding it to the bottom if the sides can accommodate for a 20oz bottle. Other than that, great bag.
Always excellent

I bought the Sling 3l in the new color offered, I already have other bags so I knew what to expect. Always of exceptional quality, practical, for me it is the best bag that can be found in terms of quality and functionality.

3.5 stars. The quality is great, I can fit quite a bit inside the main compartment, and the folding dividers are nice. It would be 5 stars if they got rid of the unnecessary laptop/tablet pouch, and make the front pocket more usable. The front pouch is large but capacity is small, because it's really just a sleeve, i.e. it has no volume. It's also hard to access and find what you need, so it's more of a black hole or solely a pouch for gloves. Also need to add a stabilizing strap, and make the main strap quick release so you don't need to pull it over your head. Overall the sling is really the best thing I could find for my needs. I wish it had better organization and access for smaller items.
Surprisingly poor quality

Useful bag but disappointed with quality - especially fabric. I've used the bag maybe 10 times so far but the fabric color is already fading especially around the corners. I think they use poor quality fabric to cut costs. Also the "hook" that is supposed to lock the strap is weak. My strap lengthens on it's own over time despite it being in the "locked" position.

I had the old 5L version, but upgraded to the 6L bag and it is Fan-Freaking-Tastic! I'm a big fan of the double zipper upgrade. The amount of room in the bag is wonderful and the material is super durable so I have full confidence in it keeping my gear safe on climbing shoots.

I have the everyday backpack and am very familiar with the quality of Peak Design. That carries into the 3L Sling. I use it for my mirrorless camera along with a little room for other EDC stuff — like glasses & phone.Highly recommend.

I’ve been using the v1 5L sling for the past 5 years. It’s become my favorite shooting bag for my Fuji MILC system. (Easier to “run and gun” than the Domke bag that proceeded it.) I got the 6L sling a couple of weeks ago. It’s everything the original was…plus just a little bit more. The more means the zippers move freely, not catching on the top of my gear. I can add a prime atop the shorter zoom. Or leave the 1.4x teleconverter attached to the long lens. More room to stash strobist gear too. The removable tripod straps are a nice upgrade too. I now longer need to lash my tripod and nano stand to the top handle. I was initially concerned about carrying a bigger bag. In practice the additional bulk isn’t noticeable, but I do appreciate the added volume.

Bought the 5L V1 sling back in 2018, and had it replaced via warranty with the 6L V2 recently: couldn't be happier with the new version. It fixes a few design quirks with the original: zippers are sturdier, and there's plenty of vertical space. A bit more rigid, as well, which is good.

I recently received my 6L Sling and I love it! It is exactly what I needed. Solid, nice design, versatile and good price. My Canon M6 Mark II with 50mm lens + two more lenses (telephoto 55-250 + 15-45mm) fits in including my charger and a few other essentials. I am already looking forward to purchasing more from Peak Design so I can focus on the joy of photography and not how to drag all my stuff around!
Good protection and nice design

I got the 3L sling bag and it seems to be the right size for an X100 size camera and some accessories and room for sunglasses, tissue papers, wires etc. The quality is definitely good, I only wish the logo material was made out of leather like the grey color version, just something to age a little and patina.

Very robust and premium bag. You sacrifice space for that tho and it could maybe be a bit thinner but pack more stuff, like ipad, batteries and other hard stuff that need space. I find it a bit too tight with my mirrorless and one extra lens. Fitting keys, batteries, cell phone and wallet is a bit hard. But it’s great if you really consider the space you need and you’re ok on sacrificing internal space for extra protection.

Ive found the 6L sling being a good compromise between the 3 and 10L version. It works well with a mirrorless camera plus one big and two small lenses, or tow big lenses.

Got this for a recent trip to Asia and worked out great. Love that it's waterproof for worry free rain activities. It's a snug fit for my Fujifilm XT5 but worked out great and with enough room for my wallet and phone.
