Peak Design Packable Tote (Charcoal)

One of my favorite purchases by far - it folds up quite small, but is large enough to hold a fair amount. I think it was able to fit a shoebox for boots inside, which surprised me. The zip is a nice touch as most compact totes don't have one. The built in storage pouch also doubles as a small pocket inside the tote when unfolded for small items. The strap is nice and anti-slip. All in all, lots of great features in a small packable tote

Really love this bag, it looks great, it's packable and strong, BUT one thing I'd change is making the strap length a bit longer so it can go cross body. Also, I find the straps are just a little bit close over the shoulder, and I'm not a particularly big person either. So yes, what I love to see is either adjustable straps, or straps that are extra long so this bag can be worn comfortably across the body for ease and security during longer trips. Surely I can't be the only person to mention this? 🤔 Maybe for next model @peakdesign?

I liked my first one so much, I bought another. It packs down to the size of my iPhone so it’s easy to stash in my car, bike panniers, or luggage.

We ordered and used two on a recent trip. It came in really handy to have tucked away to pull out for groceries, gear, any random stuff we found. The strap is pretty comfortable, easy to pack away. Being zippable is a plus. The major flaw I had was the pocket is too small for my phone (pixel 7 xl)

I wanted a bag that was lightweight and had a zipper, to use for my airplane essentials. This bag was exactly right! i was able to put my sling bag, Hydroflask water bottle, noise-cancelling headphones in a fabric pouch and a Turtl neck wrap. Along with a 30L Matador Seg backpack, I was able to keep everything organized. I purchased a bundle of two totes and used them to shop for groceries when I got to my destination. Also, love the single padded handle since there are fewer straps to deal with. As a 57 year old, female minimalist traveller, I would recommend these packable totes to everyone.

Quality of the materials and construction are both excellent. The zipper is a nice touch if you throw the bag in the back of your car and want to keep the items from falling out. Due to the single handle and narrow opening, it is a bit cumbersome to get items in and out of the bag. Combined with 12L capacity which feels very limited, this bag just feels very cramped. The handle is a decent length for carrying, but could be a bit longer to use as an over the shoulder tote. It's a hassle that this bag has to be turned inside out to pack it, and turned right side out before every use. Unfortunately this bag will either get relegated to my car for emergency use or I will give it away as a gift to someone who might like it better. I have a bag from another brand that packs down to a fraction of the size despite being almost double the capacity, and is much more accommodating due to the dual handles and wide opening.

Honestly tote bags are not taken seriously today. Most of them are not designed well and the standard canvas material is simply terrible. It gets wet, dirty, dusty. This tote is thoughtfully designed and gives a refreshed use to this category. The material is light, holds well the wet/water, doesn't get dusty and it's sturdy. The size is perfect, easy to carry on. The packable mechanism is not frustrating. Finally a tote that makes sense. Thanks Peak Design.

Bought this tote bag last month as a "just in case" shopping bag inside my camera bag. Ended up being my camera bag for my 4 week trip to Japan. Idea 1: 2 loops to attach anchor links so to attach a leash? Idea 2: longer strap? Great bag!

Excellent packable tote with zip for security . Love the muted colours : makes a utility item look a bit chic and stylish . Packs up tiny .

Got already the everday totebag before I got the packable totebag. I am not disapointed again. High quality, very functional (with little details Like a bag in bag for keys or phone) but aswell very stylish. And although little packed a lot of space unpacked and easy to re-pack.

This is my go to packable tote bag . It's very stylish and can hold good amount of items. I'm planning to purchase one more because I really love it.

The interior pocket exactly fits my iPhone 14 Pro Max Peak Design Everyday case, so you can probably assume anything smaller than that model will also fit if in a Peak Design Everyday case as well.

I almost never write reviews but specially opened the website to write one for this small piece of pure perfection. I have really used the one packable tote I got last year to its limits. Carried everything you can name. Even my laptop - WITHOUT a cover. I have carried it in snow, rain, wind, sun, every weather. It didn't let anything inside neither it let the contents outside. I even once had my coffee cup leak inside this tote, I didn't know until I actually opened it and saw the bag was containing all the liquid inside. The zippers don't let the contents out or in either. I'm gonna get pack of 6 to gift it to everyone i know 😅

I always travel with a packable totebag because you never know when you have to shop for groceries. Also you have a bag to fill with souvenirs when you get back home! What I love about this totebag from Peak Design is the zip: you can close the bag so there no chance to spill the content! What can be improved: it's nice that the handle is padded but it's a bit to sturdy so it's more difficult than my other totebags to pack. I wouldn't mind less padding for more packability!

Really happy with this cool packable tote. Fabric is nice to touch and feels very durable. Zip is very handy to have to keep things inside. Packs away very easy. Just need to remember to bring with me. Great to use for travels as your personal item to quickly stuff items before boarding the plane.

I bought this a couple weeks ago, and I’m pretty happy with it. But it isn’t perfect, although the quality seems good, the packing is a little tricky and it feels like the pouch for that could have been a little bigger. But hey, it was fairly cheap.
