Description
The Pearl P3500D Demon XR direct-drive single bass drum pedal is direct path to rapid fire bass drum performance. The product of a two-year research and development collaboration with drummer Gorge Kollias, the Demon XR (for Extreme Rebound,) essentially rewrites the playbook on high-speed bass drumming. Featuring a stripped-down, machine shop design for lightweight feel and a faster stroke, its secret lies in the enhanced rebound action of the XR high-tension spring. This accentuates rebound, making repeated strokes in the most extreme musical situations effortless. Feel can be tailored with a quick change to the included standard spring for more traditional feel. Its XI beater contacts the head with a high impact "ricochet" that further enhances accuracy and high tempo technicality.
