Don’t be deterred by the bad reviews, this is a very nice quality piece. The one i received had no damage whatsoever and was securely packaged- though very very heavy. The top including the drawers comes pre assembled and you only need to attach the legs. It is a very dark stain and my pictures are in a dark hallway so it doesn’t show it off very well.

It's a beautiful table that looks expensive, but isn't. Solidly built and heavy. Very easy to put together. The color is a darker color than I expected, definitely darker than my other walnut furniture. Very happy with purchase.
