Peet's Sun Catcher Light Roast Ground Coffee - 10.5oz

The bright, sparkling Sun Catcher blend has been my go-to coffee since its introduction earlier this year. I love it. It’s light and bold at once. I still have Luminosa on my shelf, but Sun Catcher, true to it’s name, is the more radiant blend. Thank you, Peet’s!

I didn't care for this bean. I couldn't detect any of the purported citrus notes and I found it surprisingly bitter.

This is my new favorite Peet’s ground coffee. It has a light smooth taste. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because I noticed the pkg. is only 10.5 oz. instead of 12 oz. like other Peets ground coffee I’ve purchased in the past. Yet another example of shrinkflation! I bought it on sale so that made it a better value. I’ll still buy it because I like the taste, but will watch for sales as its slightly higher priced for the amount of coffee.

Been enjoying it for the last couple weeks and I love it, it comes nicely packed in a resealable bag, easy to open and keep it protected to keep it fresh. It has a delicious aroma and flavor, not too strong, not too weak, just perfect intensity of aroma and flavor, it’s the best way to start my day.

Personally I love this blend it’s sweet and fresh and seems to have a lot of caffeine which I love! However my mom really doesn’t like it and finds it too much caffeine and too much acidity. If high caffeine acidic light roasts are for you (as they are for me) you’ll love it but if your stomach prefers to not have that then maybe look at something more balanced.

Which makes because it has hints of milk chocolate, almond butter and pear. The second light roast gives off a light aroma with a lot of sweetness. Its hints are strawberry jam, citrus, and honeysuckle. Both are delicious and worth a try.
