The tables will do the job but the set I got did not have a smooth enough finish. The edges were rough and if I rubbed my hand the wrong way on the surface or edge it could give you splinters.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When my kids were younger we had those plastic little lap trays that are good for them to sit on the floor and eat lunches on but since they have outgrown those and don't really want to sit on the floor to eat their lunches anymore we needed a more grown up option. These tray tables are perfect and I love the stand for them that keeps them nicely together and out of the way when they are not in use. The old plastic tray tables didn't fold up so they took up a lot of space but these fold up real easy and all 4 trays and the stand take up about the same amount of space as the plastic trays did. These are also much sturdier and can hold their laptops for getting school work done or arts and crafts without buckling under the weight.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These tray tables work perfectly and their quality is good. The tables are spacious. They can easily hold a plate or two with a drink to go with it. The finish is beautiful and there is no need for a coaster because the would is naturally colored. I only deducted a star because when assembling the stand that holds the tray tables, one side of the carry handle split where the screw inserts. The wood was likely glued together there and the seam just split. The stand still holds all of the tray tables securely, I just have to be careful when moving the stand while they’re on it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are absolutely beautiful tray tables. When unboxing them you do have to put together the stand but that only takes about 15 or 20 minutes. The stand feels very secure when more than one is being used. The table itself is big and sturdy. I can use my laptop and have a plate of snacks or notebook on it with plenty of room.

Love the tables but the tray holder/stand was defective. The legs of the tray slide into the base of the stand and two notches were cut too small so trays would not fit properly and stand up. To store the trays, I really needed the base. Back they go for return.
