Q: what is the expatriation date on these

A: TLDR: Food is good after the sell by date. How long it is good depends. If the product only has a “sell by” date, it is still good for some time if it is stored appropriately. (Eggs, for instance, if you put them in the fridge, maybe not in the door, can last more than a month past the sell by date). Goldfish are probably good for at least 3 months past the sell by date if unopened (in my experience). If opened and stored in some reasonable approximation of “closed” (air tight container, baggie, chip clip etc) I would say a 7—10 days. If opened and left opened, probably a day. You really can only tell for sure by looking at them/tasting them (I suppose you could try smelling too but I don’t imagine that would be helpful ;) For the record, most dry goods (like goldfish) will last far beyond a “best by” and even a “use by” date. (They maybe won’t taste quite the same but they are safe to eat)

I love Pepperidge Farm Goldfish Crackers and I had to buy the Special Edition Disney Mickey Mouse Cheddar Crackers. They're just so cute! I mean, as if the goldfish themselves aren't cute enough, they add a little red Mickey Mouse shaped head. I love snacking on them, they're deliciously crisp with the perfect cheesy taste and I really love adding them on top of tomato soup - just like my mom did over 50 years ago!

Goldfish snacks taste great and these cheddar Mickey goldfish are one of our grandsons favorites! We keep a bag in our pantry just for him. You can’t miss the bright blue packaging with Mickey on it! Who doesn’t love goldfish? I love them and my 2 year old son especially loves the Mickey Mouse edition. He gets excited seeing Mickey on the packaging and Mickey head shaped cracker. Cheddar is always the go to flavor but so far we have enjoyed the other ones as well.

My kids are absolutely obsessed with these Goldfish crackers. They love the Mickey Mouse shapes. I appreciate that there are no artificial dyes in them. The cartons are really easy to open and reseal. Overall, these are a really great value.

Why did these double in price?? They were 1.99 like all the other goldfish just a week ago. Paying over twice the cost for the same product, just because of a Mickey shape?? Ridiculous. Super frustrated parent over here, as my autistic son will only eat these particular goldfish for some reason.
