A: Yes, but only Perdue Simply Smart Organics Gluten Free Breaded Chicken Breast Nuggets with a “Best If Used By” date of 3/23/25 are a part of our recent voluntary recall. If you have this product with that date stamped on the bag, please do not consume the product and contact Perdue Foods at 866-866-3703. Q: Do these contain wheat at all? I understand they are gluten free, but gluten protein can be removed from wheat and some manufacturers still use wheat sans gluten proteins in their formula.

As a gluten free, soy-free, dairy free girly with a sensitive stomach… I adore these. I just throw them in the oven for 15 minutes and done! I have made them once in the microwave while on a time crunch- and naturally, they weren’t as crispy.. but still good! Please never stop carrying these. I stock up once a week for nights when I’m too tired to actually cook. They are so yummy, and my non gluten free friends never know that they aren’t made with gluten until I mention it! The only thing I would change is the price… $10 is steep for a single bag of nuggets. I have seen them cheaper in the past at competitor’s stores. I love the ingredients, though.. Perdue got that right.

I have tried so many different brands of frozen nuggets and these are the best so far. The shape, texture, etc. is all good. Instead of making just my son frozen nuggets sometimes, I now also want some. Sometimes we’ll get some rolls and make little chicken sandwiches. Just get the nuggets.

Flavor good, texture bad. Very rubbery and like the crust separated from the nuggets. These don't hold a torch to the gluten free dinosaur nuggets I usually get. Which target doesn't carry at this time evidently.

Good! They’re juicy and taste good even without dipping sauce BUT one thing I noticed is that the breading kind of sticks to your teeth? Not sure if this was just something I experienced but yeah that was weird

I’ve tried many gluten free foods and this is one of my all time favorites! My family likes these better than the regular nuggets, so I don’t need to make 2 types. In the oven, the breading stays crispy, not soggy like some others. They don’t come stuck together or crumbling apart with more breading ending up on the cookware than the chicken, which I’ve also experienced with other brands. The size is uniform, (on the big side for a nugget) with plenty of chicken in each piece. It doesn’t have an abundance of herbs or flavorings, just a simple, solid straightforward chicken nugget, just like we like them!
