Cotton sateen is supposed to be soft and smooth. I’ve washed these 4 times and they’re still rough and scratchy. I’ve used baking soda and vinegar too- a sure way to soften sheets. The only other thing I could try to soften them is to hang them outside, but it’s February and I live in Montana.

I love these sheets! I love the elastic strips sown in so I could stop using the straps with the snaps on the end! It's nice not to get smacked in the head while you're sleeping when one pops off in the middle of the night!

These sheets are quite rough, they don’t feel comfortable or inviting, and they’re loud. I’ve never had loud sheets before, but here we are. Also, they are incredibly wrinkly, almost comically so for sheets that say “wrinkle resistant.” Overall, just a bad sheet set, although I appreciate the deep pockets as they stay in place. I bought them on sale for around $40, and I feel that’s a bit overpriced.

These sheets are my go to, I have them in 3 colors to mix and match. I would love for them to bring back the ‘river birch’ color way. These sheets hold up well and have a nice crispness to them but get softer with washes. I’ve only had one set rip and that was due to user error after many years of use.

I got a set of these with christmas patterns and I loved them, so I went ahead and bought plain colored ones. Love the elastic on the corners that makes the job easier, they are soft and very comfortable. Washed them and placed them right after the dryer finished. To my surprise the wrinkles did not go away. This never happened with the christmas ones. I mean they are bedsheets and they do the job, at the end of the road you just want to have a good night with them… and you will. If you dont mind the wrinkles I highly recommend them!
