Petal and Pup Womens Seychelle Dress

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My usual size I buy is a US10 but from reading all the reviews they say to size down. I ordered a US8 from Petal and Pup and to my surprise it was really baggy on top. There was a lot of extra space under the arms, the length was fairly long and I was contemplating if I should cut one of the tiers off to shorten it. So GLAD that I decided to return it for a smaller size. The US6 was to my surprise a great length for my short height, the arms were just right and the baggy top area had just enough room and not look overwhelming. It doesn't quite cover my problem belly area but the tiers do hide the area pretty well. The quality of the dress could be better, as its quite thin on the top, and you WILL need to iron it or steam it to get the wrinkles out. I have it hanging for a couple weeks now and none of the wrinkles gone away yet. I am looking forward to wearing it for a Feb wedding!!

For reference I am 5'1" size 10 US B cup: The color of the dress is dark navy and comes with a sash for the waist w/ an extra button. Upon receiving it I noticed a few loose strands on one of the tiers hem and it comes quite wrinkled out of the bag. The dress needs to be steamed or be laid out. The length is quite long for my height and will need to be tailored shorter. There is no inner layer however for the tiers will cover whatever 'bumps' you'd want to hide. As the other reviews mentioned, the top portion of the dress is a bit baggy/loose fitting, even with having a longer torso, which also will need to be tailored. I also noticed that under the arms portion of the dress is a little lop-sided but it doesn't bother me to show a little bit of my bra on one side. Overall I think the dress is OK for my upcoming wedding I will be attending, but the quality is not up to par for the price paid.

Love love loved this dress!!! Wore it to a beach wedding is Cancún!! It was a little big in the chest. It did warn me that it would run a little bigger and I should’ve listened. I wore it anyway because I loved it so much!! Would recommend this 🥰🥰

Searched for a while trying to find a dress that was modest but still flattering and cute, this dress finally ended that search. Fits perfectly, super comfortable but still very classy

I bought the dress to wear to a wedding and I normally wear a size 8, but it was way too tight through my chest and back, so I ordered a 10. I absolutely love the style and material of the dress, but the top of the dress is cut so oddly that it lays weird and lots of side boob shows or sides of dress stick out oddly with strapless bra. I want to love it, but its going to have to be returned.

Pretty and comfortable dress! I wore to an afternoon into evening wedding and it was perfect.

Stunning gown in every way! Very soft and good for a multitude of events. Top is a bit larger fitting, but dress itself fits perfectly.

Not the best quality material for the cost but it is a beautiful flowy dress.

I found that the elastic waistband and tie didn’t really work for me, and I do have a short torso and small chest. There’s no lining, and the material is pretty thin, but it’s not see through. I did size down, and it fit fine. I probably could have ordered my TS and been fine too. Will be returning. I’m 5’6” and 143 lbs. Normally I wear a 6 in a dress and I ordered a 4. I’m a 27 in jeans if that helps anyone pick their size.
