Q: Is it harmful to your pet if he licks this spray once it is applied to the skin?

A: Hello. We recommend you try to prevent your pet from licking the product while it is still wet. PetArmor® Anti-Itch Spray dries fairly quickly, within about 10 minutes. Once the product is dry, there is no harm in your pet licking the product. If your pet does get a lick of the product, you may see some drooling or foaming. We recommend you give your pet a flavorful treat to help remove the undesirable taste from their mouth.

A: The PetArmor Anti-Itch Spray can be used as often as necessary to provide your pet with continued relief. If symptoms persist or worsen, discontinue the use of the anti-itch spray and consult a veterinarian. We do not recommend applying the anti-itch spray for more than 10 consecutive days.

So far I have enjoyed using this spray on my pets. It's easy to apply which makes the process a breeze. The affordable price is a bonus - it doesn't break the bank to keep my fur babies comfortable. The only thing that I wish could be improved is the duration of the effect. It would be great if it lasted a bit longer. Nevertheless, it's a decent product overall.

I bought this because my dog had really bad redness and itching . This was my last option for me to take my fur kid to the ER. With a day or two his skin started healing . And itches less . He was loosing all his hair now it’s growing back and the redness has gone down . Life saver for my kid 😭 🥲 I would suggest trying for a week if not I would return . !!!

I only used this product on my 2lb (3 month old) puppy for a day. It worked great; I reapplied 3 times in a 12 hour period. But after some research the active ingredient "Benzalkonium chloride" is toxic at .1% and this is .05% concentration. I worried about it absorbing through his thin puppy skin and/or him licking the oily residue/scratching the area then licking his paws. Additionally he started coughing from the smell after application so I discontinued use. If you have a bigger dog then I'd say use it when really needed because it does work for a couple hours, but make sure they can't reach the application spot to lick it. If this ingredient was safer to puppies/dogs I'd gladly use it, but I'm just worry too much.

I absolutely love this product. My cat has been suffering from what seemed like some kind of dermatitis caused by fleas. We treated him for the fleas but he was left with these awful open scabs that were so itchy he would scratch and lick his skin raw…after using this product within a week I already saw results it’s been about a month now and he’s completely free of all his scabs and is doing so much better highly recommend this product it’s a life saver!
