As much as I want to give this a 5 star review, I can't. This is the 3rd tube I have ordered and each time, the amount in the tube decreases. I just opened my newest tube, and I swear….it is only HALF full. I will be lucky if this bottle lasts 2 weeks. Come on Peter Roth…..do better!!!! Unfortunately, I will not be ordering again. Looking for recommendations for a similar product???

I purchased the instant firmx no filter primer and loved it. I reordered the product and received the instant firmx no filter primer BASE in place of the other. This product is awful, it leaves a dry white film no matter how I apply it. The other did not leave a film. I am not sure if they changed the formula or are substituting the other for this one. The tube on the original product was solid black writing and did not advertise as BASE as this product does. Hopefully they bring back the other as I will not purchase this item again.

I’ve noticed that this primer tends to break down after about 45 minutes, which has been really disappointing. While I truly appreciate the quality of your other products, this particular one hasn't met my expectations. I would recommend looking into the formula to enhance its longevity. If you require additional hydration and use a serum or moisturizer, allow the products to fully absorb and dry before applying Instant FIRMx® Allow Instant FIRMx® No-Filter Primer to dry for a full 7 minutes before applying your makeup. If you want more subtle effects Instant FIRMx® No-Filter Primer can be mixed into your foundation and applied together. You can also try applying Instant FIRMx® No-Filter Primer as a spot treatment for the areas of your face you only want to treat and work around those areas with your foundation, tinted moisturizer, etc. Please reach out to our Customer Service team at support@peterthomasroth.com for any product questions you may have.

I really like this product, actually! I originally got a tube as a gift from my friend when I was getting married (she made a spa-day care package... my friends are the best!) and I've actually purchased it twice more since then! I love this product both for days I don't really want to wear makeup, but want my pores and fine lines to disappear - but it also works nicely with my pacific kind tint serum foundation for the days I feel like getting a bit more done up. I'm not sure why others didn't enjoy it as much as I do, but I'll say this much..... I bought the new matte Porefessional from Benefit, and what an epic disappointment that was! can't wait to return that and get a tube of this stuff again instead!

Don't waste your money! It does not matter how long you let your moisturizer dry this primer does nothing after you apply your foundation.

Unlike many of these reviews, I dont typically use this product under/over my foundation, but as an all over face blurring/tightening product. I dont usually wear a full face of makeup unless I have an event, and for daily use to even out my skin tone and tighten a bit it is perfect! I still do a little contouring and concealing in some spots, but I basically use it alone after I cleanse/tone/moisturize daily and I love it!
I will never run out of this.

This is the worst primer I have ever tried. It does nothing for fine lines. It does not balance skin tone. Although I have tried many different techniques for application, it inevitably dries in flaky patches. I like this brand ordinarily and cannot believe they have this product on the market.

I don’t understand some of these bad reviews because this is Botox and a filter in a bottle! Follow the instructions and you should see the results. I definitely wouldn’t recommend for dry skin.
