A Non-Slip Base for Hot Pans and Lids The Petromax Silicone Trivet is the protective, non-slip base for your Dutch ovens and pans when you want to take a break from cooking or roasting. It can be used to hold hot lids securely, too. The curved grooves indicate the different sizes of the Dutch Oven it can hold - suitable for lids up to the Petromax ft9 model. Dimensions: About 12.6"L x 12.6"W x 0.3"H, Weight: About 0.6 lb. Material: Silicone. Origin: China Thanks to the indentations on the trivet, hot lids lie securely on the base. After cooking, the trivet acts as a spacer between the pot and lid for air circulation. Resistant to very high and extremely low temperatures: -140 degrees F to 446 degrees F (-40 degrees C to 230 degrees C). Eyelet allows the trivet to be hung up when not in use. Should the Petromax Trivet ever become heavily soiled or greasy, it can simply be cleaned lying flat in the dishwasher. It also serves as an anti-slip base when you clean your pot.
