Q: Does this kitty have the option to copy your voice? My daughter had a puppy similar but they don’t make the same one anymore. My son threw it in a muddy puddle and it doesn’t work anymore. Trying to find a replacement. TIA!

A: The Pets Alive Smitten Kitten does not have the voice-copying feature that some other toys might have. It’s designed to respond to touch and play interactively, but it won’t mimic voices.

Ive fallen for this twice now… There are NO batteries included which caused an immediate breakdown for my 4 year old. Why have an egg to open and be surprised when the surprise doesn’t move or do any of the things right out the gate?

The packaging was deceptive. It made it seem like there were 5 surprises along with a kitten inside, but there was only one other object that could be described as a toy--a tiny milk bottle--and the cat itself. One of the five "surprises" was a product guide which is basically advertising. My daughter was disappointed she spent her money on it.

It's absolutely ridiculous that they advertise 5 surprises and count the cat & product guide (ad). Just bananas. Go to a discount store and let your child pick out something cute.

Cute idea, but they didn’t work! We bought two and they didn’t work! They wouldn’t make any noise or respond to any prompts. We returned immediately and my girls were SO SAD!
