Q: How can a person tell if the surge protector is grounded/protected if there is no light indicator?

If the item is no longer providing protection, it wont provide power to any of the outlets.

The black color helped it blend in with the equipment and stand out like white would have. The surge protector feels well made and not a small gauge wire size.
