Description
This set is pop of pink to start feeding and soothing a newborn. It includes the Philips Avent Anti-colic with AirFree vent bottles, which are designed to reduce feeding issues: such as colic, gas, and reflux. The unique AirFree vent is designed to draw air away from the nipple keeping it full of milk to avoid air ingestion. This vent also keeps the nipple full of milk even when the bottle is held horizontal, allowing for upright feeding. Feeding in an upright position can help to reduce reflux and aid in digestion. The nipple shape is designed for a secure latch for a comfortable feed. The bottle is easy to clean and assemble with few parts. The AirFree vent is only one piece and is easy to clean without any special tools. The Anti-colic bottle features a valve, integrated into the nipple, that reduces vacuum buildup and reducing air into your baby’s tummy. The soft lightweight feel of the Snuggle pacifier holder helps babies feel secure and makes finding the pacifier easy. Comfort baby with the Ultra soft pacifier and its soft flexible shield. The set includes a handy snack/formula dispenser that carries 3 premeasured portions of food in separate compartments. To keep your bottles clean, a bottle brush that features a curved brush head for easy cleaning of rounded bottle edges and a molded tip to clean the nipple is included. The Anti-colic bottle can be used with or without the AirFree vent, giving you the option based on your baby’s feeding needs. The soft silicone nipple is available in different flow rates for babies of all ages, flows 1-4. The Philips Anti-Colic Newborn Gift Set (0M+) has been a real lifesaver for us, especially when it comes to dealing with our baby's spitting up issues. From the moment we started using the bottles included in this set, we noticed a significant reduction in our babies discomfort. The innovative anti-colic design really seems to work wonders.Our baby seems much more content and fussy less during and after feedings. The agent bottle only works if you’ve attached everything PERFECTLY, and when you do, it’s an impeccable bottle. If you don’t, however, it is awful to use; the bottle pours out or explodes on you, your baby can’t get ANYTHING out of it, you think your baby’s feeding but then you check and they haven’t gotten anything out of it. It’s the most frustrating bottle I’ve used, and I hate it. When it works one in ten times, I love it, but good luck. Even following every step to set it up to a tee doesn’t guarantee it will function properly.

I was hoping to use an anti colic system without too many parts to clean. Unfortunately, these consistently leak. It’s a great bundle pack for a newborn but the bottles themselves leak.

These bottles are comfortable to hold and I can see baby starting to hold them! Other bottles have given my baby a hard time. I received these bottles to test out from the stellar product testing panel. My baby has not really been into pacifiers so unfortunately I cannot provide much feedback on them but my 2 year old loves to use them for make believe!

It’s hard choosing the right bottle when there are so many choices and features but I am happy to recommend these, especially if your baby struggles with gas or spitting up. I have always been a fan of Philips Avent products for my babies and this one is another success. I started using Philips Avent bottles after another brand was leaking all the time. I love the design with only a few parts to clean and assemble. It makes it easy to prepare bottles and I don’t have to worry about them leaking in a diaper bag. I also love how easy the bottle and parts are to clean and the markings on the side make it easy to see the amount of milk. The anti-colic bottles have a unique AirFree vent feature. I liked that the picture on the box showed which way to position the bottle when feeding to allow for the vent to work. I didn’t have any issues and it seemed to help my baby spit up less after. My baby enjoyed the bottle and nipple without any issues. I also breastfeed so going back and forth between bottle and breast is important to me. I would definitely recommend these to other parents and plan to continue using these for my daughter.

The all-in-one set by Avent is a great starter kit and gift for first time parents. I really liked that it came with bottles, 2 different sized nipples, a formula travel cup, and paci - all great essentials! Before receiving this set, we were using different Avent bottles but our son easily took to these bottles. He did not have any issues with gassiness or latching. Having the different nipple sizes was a huge plus. I feel like you transition through these fairly quickly, so its nice to know that this is covered in the gift set. I also really enjoyed the thought behind the formula travel cup. I have always had to do a combination of breastmilk and formula with my kids, so this will be very handy when we have to rely more on formula, especially when traveling. As for the paci, I loved the new design with the snuggle buddy giraffe being detachable. This makes cleaning a lot more convenient. Unfortunatley, my son prefers his fingers and hands, so we did not get any use out of it. Every baby is different though, so it is a good thing to include in the set.

Favorite things: - The snuggle is so cute and I love that it comes with 2 different types of pacifiers and that you can attach any other kind of pacifier that your baby might prefer. And if they aren't a pacifier user (as my first wasn't) they have a cute little stuffed animal! - My 1st baby would drink bottles right out of the fridge but this 2nd baby wants a nice warm bottle everytime. This bottle warmer has been a life saver for helping him get used to bottles as we transition to daycare. I can turn it on and set a timer and walk away and do something else until it's warmed A few negatives: - Just a personal preference, but my baby did not like these nipples as much as the older Avent nipples. However, it's hard to know if his opinion would be different if he'd started on these. - There was what I'm assuming must be a typo in my instruction manual for the bottle warmer that showed the time needed to heat a 4 oz bottle being less than what's needed for a 2-3 oz bottle. I'm not sure what it's supposed to say, but we've figured out our preferred timing. Overall a great set to prepare any breastfeeding or formula feeding mama. Please note that I was given this to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, but the review is my own.

The extra parts are very easy to clean, unlike other anti colic bottles with lots of hard to clean parts. Another cool thing about these bottles is if you don’t use the extra part (or just can’t find it #momlife) you don’t need it, the bottle can also be used as a regular bottle. My baby took the bottle with no problem. The sizes they come in are great and convenient. Very pleased! I was given this to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

My 2 month old baby has suffered from painful reflux since day one. This Avent Anti-Colic bottle allowed me to feed him in a more up right position which greatly helps his reflux. Since the nipple stays full through the entire feeding, I didn't have to worry about baby taking in any air. Using this bottle also seemed to lessen the amount of milk that baby would spit up after a feeding which makes for a happy baby and a happy momma. Bottle is very easy to clean even with the addition of the air free vent. This gift set also includes a snuggle buddy that can attach to any pacifier. I appreciate that the pacifier can be removed and switched, since my baby has become very attached to one certain type of pacifier. I also loved that the set included two bottle and nipple sizes to grow with baby. Such a great gift set for any new mom!

The bottles are standard, but what makes the product great is the AirFree vent - it works really well! I also loved that the bottles came with two different sized nipples. I also really liked the bottle warmer, as my LO is quite particular with the milk temperature. A drop too cold and he won't take it. The warmer took a little time to get used to and figure out, but it does an outstanding job. The one thing that I'm not sure about is the pacifier. Our LO doesn't take pacifiers at all, so we were unable to try them out. Overall, the set is a must have for new moms. I already have neighbors who bought the set after they saw us using it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We mostly use comotomo bottles in our house, so I likely wouldn’t have heard of this set had I not received it from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. The insert in the bottle is genius! It keeps the milk in the nipple and it helps with keeping air out of baby’s tummy, better than our usual bottles. I find myself going for these more and more often. The best part is that it is incredibly easy to clean - the anti-colic solution is one piece and *no straw*. The set itself overall is really nice and would be a great starter set. I detracted a star for the bottle warmer…there is no timer? It seems like it would have been so easy to add one. Instead I have to set a timer on my phone (or ask google), which isn’t a huge deal - but as a mom of two I’m always getting distracted! Long story short - highly recommend the bottles. I’d pass on the warmer.
