A: I can'y say other than Phillips Hue started off with one smart wifi bulb that cost probably what you get for the Phillips Hue starter white/color bulbs and a bridge to connect them all and don't worry, that hub/bridge is good for up to 50 lights total! you'd have total control over every single bulb individual color wise, set the mood for certain area's, timers, dimmers! you name it, it's in there!

A: It is white and color ambiance. Target doesn’t show correct info. I do not recommend buying from online because they sent me ones that were already opened and 3 bulbs were from the 2nd generation (600 lumens) not third. Only one was the correct bulb. At that all the bulbs showed wear on the bottom. >:(

Q: All Philips starter packs include a hub. The description says that this specific item does not. Not able to reconcile these statements :/

A: According to the manufacturer's website, the UPC code is identical, and verifies that it contains the bridge. The Target website is erroneous.

We loving these lights, and the use all of their features. We love all of the options you have to create different moods and scene's through out the house. They are extremely pricey, but also have the most options. Only get these lights if your looking for something more than just a standard smart light.

Non dimmable besides using the app. Also the automation is haywire with a handful of our lights. Close to $1,000 worth of lights and I have to deal with lights turning on randomly. Also can't control two homes from one app. Pitiful.

Lights are good, the bridge was easy to set up and the app is initiative. However, none of the schedules or automation features work. The app says they are on, but the lights don't respond. For a system this expensive, there shouldn't be functionality problems this big

Excellent product, but I wish they had 1600 lumen bulbs available for the color ones. Also, account setup would be helpful for repeat orders. I just ordered bulbs for a second time and will be ordering more in the future.

Purchased this kit at my local Target store just to get it home and find that it is missing TWO of the bulbs and Target won’t give a refund for the missing bulbs OR replace the missing bulbs. :)

Plug and play, it just works. The color range and clarity is impressive, for the whites you can adjust to the perfect shade for the light location or your mood. These lights can produce the purest white light I have ever seen from a bulb.

Love the lights. Some compatibility issues between new and old models. Once I installed these new ones, one of the older bulbs just started blinking over and over, and another one stopped coming on at all. Not sure why this started happening, but assuming it's some sort of firmware mismatch that the bridge can't handle.

The box looked like it had been opened before, so it was probably a return. Usually I wouldn't care as long as the product worked. Unfortunately, it did not work. The hue bridge connected to the wifi router initially, but in the process of the update stopped connecting. I have to ship it back and get a refund. I wonder if the reason it was returned in the first place was because it didn't work. Hopefully a third person doesn't also get the defective product.
