It worked really well for the first two years. However, after that, the battery performance declined significantly. Now, my toothbrush needs to be recharged after only three days of use. Also, it's vibrating less powerfully, and the metal shaft where the brush head fits is loose. Luckily, I had six more months of extended warranty, so I got a replacement toothbrush handle. But yeah, I did have higher expectations for such an expensive toothbrush.

I have never used a more useless toothbrush. It does not clean teeth effectively. A $1 toothbrush would be more effective than this junk. The silver polish has peeled off. I would not recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For have been using Philips products for over 20 years and I am never disappointed. When Philips came out with the Sonic toothbrush my oral hygienist suggested I use one. I did and haven't looked back. I am still using the Philips sonic toothbrush and wouldn't consider anything else and my oral hygienist agrees.

I am disappointed with how quickly this brush broke. I had this brush for less than 3 years and the metal shaft where the toothbrush head goes broke. The company will not repair toothbrushes, so this is a waste from an environmental perspective. All they were willing to do for me was offer a miniscule discount of 20% off a new one. For such an expensive toothbrush I would expect it to last much longer. I will say for the time it was working I love the brush. It made my teeth feel significantly cleaner than a manual or cheaper electric brush.

I really loved using the app with my 5100. But my new 6100 I have never been able to get the Bluetooth to work on it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the phillips sonic tooth brush. This is my third. The last two died after a few years, but long after warranty. The only problem I have is that although this tooth brush is new and I'm using the brush head that came with it, the brush falls off as I'm using it. This just started a couple weeks ago and I've been meaning to contact the company about the warranty. I can still brush with it, but it falls off at least one time, every day. I've taken off the brush head and cleaned both ends, but I don't see anything that would keep it from having a strong placement. I haven't had this happen with your previous tooth brushes. Although my last one didn't seem to have a good seal with any new brush heads after I had used it tge base for a couple years. I thought that maybe I was buying the wrong brush heads, so tried several different types of sonic brush head, but all seemed to have a gap and were wobbly. That said, none if them ever fell off the base while in use. Can you help?

I enjoyed this toothbrush for the one year that it worked for. It kept a charge for a long time. Then it started vibrating much slower and inconsistently no matter how much I charged it, even with new brush heads. To each their own when deciding if $130 for one year of use is worth it. I won't be buying this product again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dental hygienist recommended this toothbrush so I thought I would give it a try. I was a little hesitant at first because of the price but I am glad I took the plunge. There are three different settings and it is up to you on what one to use. I started on Number one but leave it on two now. I love the timer on it, it lets you know every 30 seconds so it is easy to time your brushing, and it automatically shuts off. Definitely worth the money
