I was seriously constipated after taking a heavy-duty antibiotic. I called my insurance company's advice nurse, the urgent care people, and my doctor suggested. I bought Milk of Magnesia after I saw it mentioned in the Mayo Clinic book on Digestive Care. I took it at 10:00 last night, and voila!

On the advice of my doctor I took this for my constipation issies The two months I was on it o was depressed. , I cried every day. No idea why. The day I was suicidal o knew something was wrong and stopped it. All the depression lifted. A month later I tried it for 2 days. Cried all morning. Poison

Growing up Mama would give me Milk of Magnesia (MOM) from time to time. It was thick, and had a minty taste and you had to shake it up because it settled. Today, its water that tastes like fish, which is not the original flavor at all. Honestly I think eating a thick bacon sandwich and having a large cup of black coffee, with a ice cold Topo Chico works better for constipation. Its almost a Roto-Rooter for your Tooter.

I bought this specifically because it said it was “gentle” and marketed as wouldn’t give severe effects. It was anything but gentle. Horrific, debilitating stomach cramping that lasted 16 hours, even now 18 hours later the cramping has improved but explosive diarrhea is still present and accounted for. Don’t market something as gentle when it most definitely is not.

I like to carry a bottle of cherry milk of magnesia everywhere. Working in the hot sun I’ll often get trigger finger of massive leg cramps. I find that at the end of the day several mini sips of MOM, with several minutes will alleviate the problem. But, I sure could use TSA travel size (3oz) or less.

Sour stomach, indigestion, sour stomach, constipation’s killer product. Usually works within 30 minutes. I do wish some better flavors were available, but the taste is tolerable.

So I was on the liquid diet past few days for my surgery and I used the milk day before. It worked very well in an hour even 30 min. But.. after 10 hours I still had it, I had pain back there because of to much toilet needs and also it’s green! Not greenish it’s literally green. I will talk with my doctor I hope I didn’t take overdose or anything. So it works but watch out.

I suffer from extreme constipation and this Phillips Milk of Magnesia works great. You just drink a cup full and it kicks in within 30 minutes. I highly recommend trying this product.
