I assumed these were like your typical magnetic tiles but they are cool little cubes with what seems like sand or bead like magnets on the inside. So you can shake them to stick perfectly in the direction you’re making your project. Came with an awesome idea book in which my son used to make his first penguin. I would definitely purchase again, especially with more colors and shapes.

You can build on any of the sides, so no more sorting through all the pieces for a particular tile. It comes with an idea book so kids can build freely or use the book to create. It's an awesome building set!
