Yes it’s a stool and yes, it’s blond wood, but the stools that are shipped are not made quite like the ones pictured. Maybe close enough for others but I had 2 stools I bought from target a couple years ago that are identical to the ones on the website. But they are not. It’s more than a little irritating.

Basic stools that look like the pictures, but super cheap and rickety. I don't really trust the 300 lb weight rating. The seats got scratched from just sitting on the floor during assembly and the little wooden dots they give you to cover the screw heads are infuriating to try to get to stay in--they don't screw in, a mallet doesn't help, and there are no extras. Not really sure what the other reviewers are talking about, honestly, these are half as solid as the similar Target stool they're replacing (which collapsed after five years).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These stools fit perfectly with my kitchen table, we had 4 stools already but we needed a few more so the family could all fit. The stools were fairly easy to assemble amd the time it took was sufficient not to long. The material is strong and the finish is a very nice black. The weight of the stools is good and they hold up weight just fine. I feel like these will last quite a long time.

I actually have a tall dining table, so having these for extra seats is very nice. They do have some weight to them, so the quality is very good. My Hubby didn't have any issues assembling them and had it done within about 20 minutes. These stools are very versatile and can also be used as props or decor. I highly recommend!

The stools are black in color and modern. The stools go great with my decor and I love them. The stools were very easy to assemble and came with easy to read instructions.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Arrived well packaged with all needed hardware & easy to follow intuitive instructions. It took about 15 minutes per stool for the easy assembly. I did find it necessary to use an electric drill for the last few screws that held the top rungs into place. I also used a wee bit of glue on each wood cap that hides the screws as they were not extremely tight fit & would probably have fallen out. These stools are EXTREMELY sturdy & will hold up to 300 lbs. according to the instruction sheet. Nicely finished & well made.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to get my pair of PJ Wood kitchen counter stools. I opened the box and was thrilled to see that all I had to do was put pegs in, seat on and screw in. Except it wasn’t that easy. Each stool frame had a package of pegs attached to it so I assumed that both were the same and each stool had their pack of pegs. I tried for so long to get the stool to fit together and I was unsuccessful! I couldn’t understand what was wrong, I thought the stool was built crooked. I was getting frustrated so I went to put everything away and try again later when I noticed that there were two different size pegs! Oh my goodness, I by did I not check. Once I figured that out, the stools were so easy to assemble. They are sturdy and they don’t wobble. The wood is nice with a very nice color. They are just high enough for the counter in my house. The seat is the perfect size to make it comfortable. I really like these kitchen stools and highly recommend them!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is nice and looks great. However it's too short in size. The assembly was hard due to the screws not going in smoothly. They are not sturdy and feel wiggly.
