Q: Is my soap dispenser broken or is the top pump (white part) supposed to detach from the bottom (frosted part)? I’ve noticed that mine leaks from the seam and it comes apart. Thanks!

It probably is what I am looking for, but I have to find a centimeter ruler to find out the size. Target is an American company. The Metric Conversion Act of 1975 encouragers using the metric system, but I cannot picture described sizes in centimeters. Want to use centimeters? Fine. Complement it with inches, too. Be helpful.

I know this is really cheap, so I guess you get what you pay for. But the excellent reviews had me fooled. I filled it up to full, then rinsed the outside to get off the couple drops of soap that I spilled on the outside of the bottle. But the outside still felt soapy. Then I realized that soap was leaking through the seam at the top of the container, where the white top meets the clear container. I had purchased two, so returned them both.

I bought this because I have a potty trained toddler constantly washing his hands and a tiny pedestal sink in my powder room that I knew soap dispensers would be taking a dive off of every so often. This dispenser, though inexpensive, is surprisingly durable, dispenses nicely, and isn’t awful to look at. Money well spent. I think it would actually work for lotions that aren’t too thick if you were considering that but I’ve never tried it.

I purchased these soap dispensers to help lessen the amount of shampoo and body wash my kids were using so quickly. These have helped so much. Where they were getting excessive amounts of soap from the original packaging these have slowed down wasting the product and have helped my kids realize how much they actually need. They are made well, great durability, and great for everyday use.

I ordered these pumps because of the price. I was looking for dispensers to put shampoo, conditioner, body wash into that would make my guest bathroom more aesthetically pleasing. I took a leap of faith and ordered 10. At once. I was so relieved when they came in. Each was individually wrapped in plastic baggies so they didn’t scratch each other. The pump unscrews for filling but also the white part pops off where it meets the opaque part. I like that you can see just enough in the opaque are to know when your pump needs refilled. They were just the right size. Not too tall, not too skinny. I printed little labels to put on them to identify the contents.

These are nice for the price - though the top will detach, especially in shipping if they aren’t packed carefully. However they do exactly what they are supposed to do, clean up easily and idea for a tight budget.
