Who is telling the truth? The Truth Detector has been transformed into a fun family game to play with the whole family or friends! Place the headpiece on your head, then place your fingers on the machine's meter before being asked questions by the other players. They will press the red button and when you lift the finger after answering the Truth Detector will determine if you told the truth, lied or undecided! If it catches you lying you will lose a life, but if you tell the truth you can challenge anyone you want - the last player with lives in the game wins! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Honestly, this toy felt very cheap and was hard to install together. Game was boring to my kids, things kept falling apart and the rules weren’t very clear. The band wasn’t comfortable, not accurate at all. Overall it wasn’t good.

It is very comfortable to wear when you are playing. The kids really get a kick out of playing this. The accuracy isn't too bad either, making it all the more fun.

However, the cord didn't stay attached to the headband and that's what she really wanted to work the most. It's a super cute idea, but I feel like they could have made it to where the headband worked better. We do still play with it without the headband from time to time it is a cute idea for a game. Overall, it wasn't our favorite game.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids had a blast playing this game and they ask to play it over and over. The instructions are a bit unclear but you get the gist of it and it’s easy to play. The life cards are supposed to have a 1 life and 2 lives side but both sides of the card are the same, and the wild card seems a little pointless. But the game is fun regardless and the kids are surprised everytime it says they are lying when they certainly aren’t. It’s a good game that takes 20-30 min to complete and is entertaining enough for plenty of plays.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve got this game form Influenster for my honest review. This is fun silly game for the whole family. We enjoyed playing it. Kids were really excited to put it together and making up their own questions. It is a great activity for all ages. my kids (9 and 11) loved to play it with their grandma and parents as much as with their friends too. For a quite a while they thought it is a real “truth detector” :) If you are looking for the game that brings all family together, this would be a great choice. It comes with the set of silly questions, but my favorite part was making up our own questions. Definitely will enjoy it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a fun little game to play and comes with a lot of fun questions. It's definitely better if you have multiple people playing with you. The design of the game itself is cute, but I wish the pieces of it didn't feel so easily breakable. It also has an issue with the lights and calculating when you remove your fingers from the sensor and the button you press. It's fun and cute but could've been designed a bit better in my opinion. Especially with the headband portion of the lie detector, it not only falls off at the slightest amount of movement but it's honestly not that big for kids who have bigger head sizes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such a cute game! The kiddos were cracking up and had a great time playing it. They got a kick out of the silly questions. I let them know it was just pretend first so they didn’t think it was a true metric for knowing if their answers were true or false. The game has a little piece fingers are placed on and it “calculates” whether the person answering the questions is telling the truth or lying and the corresponding light turns on. There is a headband as well. I was a little bit intimidated by the game board assembly at first, but it was so much easier than it looked. This is such a fun unique game.

It defeats the whole purpose of it being a fun lie detector game. The questions aren't anything that would require someone to lie or tell the truth. We just played the game with our own questions to make it fun and work. Otherwise it's pointless to set it up for the questions the game comes with. I received this product in exchange for my honest opinion.
