Plow & Hearth - Hammered Copper Fire Pit With Lid Converts To Table

First one had manufacturer defect. Plow & Hearth readily replaced it. They were easy to work with and efficient. The 2nd one is perfect. We love it. I would definately order from Plow amd Hearth agsin

It's a great addition to our backyard!

I am prepared to have to do paint touch up (high temperature paint) as time goes by but expect that by using only candles and covering it when inclement that it should last well. It does have an open rolled rim at the base that seems initially well painted; I bought the equivalent of eight foot-square flagstones to raise its 22 1/2" diameter base about two inches off the ground. The copper clad tub is without drain holes, and the fire cover has 1/8" mesh so moths cannot get to the flame. When new, the interior beautifully reflects candlelight. All the parts nest well together. It complements a smaller Monticello hammered copper table top dish with wrought iron tripod legs (also made in India) that I find can scratch through its copper down to a steel color base metal. I expect the bright copper to patina to a deep dull brown color as time passes. There are two small drain holes at the bottom of the painted black frame.

Beautiful firepit, but the product description should state that it's not for use on a deck.

The fire pit is very attractive and was easy to put together. All of the parts were included in the package. We won't be able to use it for a few months, but we are looking forward to being able to do so. "#sweepstakes"

Perfect size for the pergola and while it is attractive the lid which doubles as a table is genius! Love it

We haven't used it yet but it looks so nice outdoors under out pergola. It was very easy to put together and is very well made.

I live in Texas & have it set up as a table as the weather isn't cold enough yet to use the fire pit. I love it. It's very nice & sturdy. Have gotten many compliments on how beautiful it looks just as a table. You can flip the top piece around & store it underneath when using as a table.

We absolutely love our new fire pit. It's beautiful and functional. The bowl is just right - not too deep and not too shallow. It's just the right height as well.

A fine looking fire pit. The lid is useful not only as a table, but also to keep the fire bowl from filling with water since it does not, to its betterment, have a drain hole.

It's a table most of the time but magically turns into a firepit on special nights! So cool!

I cannot tell you how beautiful this firepit is! It looks better than in the catalog and website pictures. It is amazing. I am sure that we will have many years of fireside chats on the deck with this firepit to light the way.

This is more expensive that all the others I looked at but I think worth it. It is a beautiful fire pit and a table. I bought the cover for it to keep it protected in bad weather. I am very happy.

I waited almost 16 months for this beautiful fire pit to become available due to Covid and point of origin being India. Patience pays. While I don't expect to use the pit frequently, I suspect the flimsy base material will give out long before I do. Would have paid more given my assumption and desire for longevity.

Originally I had some concerns that the fire & heat would burn through the copper, but I have been using it - quite often - for more than a year and think it's such a fine product, I sent one to my nephew as a house-warming gift! We have had hours of good times around this fire pit, and the fact that it can be a table - TOO GOOD!!!
