Q: Can heavy duty metal garden staples be used to secure this edging? Understand it's just meant to be laid down, but that's not an option for my situation - a high traffic area near a sidewalk.

Very late when ordered. When you open the box be prepared for a very strong chemical smell. Did not even remove from box before deciding to return

I sought many alternatives, but ultimately this product did what I needed to do and it was easy to install. The end result looks just like it does in the photo. i ended up going back again and buying more so that I could put it not only on the borders that touch the lawn, but in the part that touches the house so i don't have to lay down mulch and worry about insects or termites. Hopefully it will stand the test of time and at least last me a few years. I would definitely purchase again!

I love the product and it's easy to install. The only thing I would caution people about is the measurements. It says 120 in is not feet. It seems odd to measure this type of product in inches rather than feet. I had to order more because of that.

I wanted a border that looked nice yet natural; something easy to mow/trim around and definitely easy to put down. And I love that it's something I'd never seen before, which means no one else in my town has it except me........for now, anyway!

This was the answer to my problems! I have spent a lot of time trying to decide what type of edging I should use in my garden to define where the grass stops and the flower garden starts. This border looks great and was extremely easy to put down, even with the curves in my garden. I would definitely recommend this product.

Plow &Hearth seems to be the only one carrying this product. I use it to outline my landscaped borders thus making mowing much easier. When they have the product in stock delivery is very quick. I suspect this product will have a long life.

I love the product. The shipping box came in bad shape, extra tapping on the outside of box was done after shipping started. Shipping box needed to be stronger to hold this product.

This product was difficult to find in my town. Plow & Hearth sent it in a timely manner. The product did as advertised. The product could be improved by having a clean edge on one side for my needs. I look forward to ordering from the company again.

Used it to cover the stones over a French drain around a porch. I didn't want the pine needles filtering thru the stones and eventually clogging the drain. It is kind of fragile; tears very easily. It has stayed in place despite some heavy storms.

I looked all over for this permanent mulch product. We use it under our aluminum fence so we don't need to weed whip under and around it. It saves the finish on the fence and a lot of time and work. I also use it as edging so I can a run a mower wheel along the edge and not have to mow into my actual flower and vegetable beds and can avoid using the trimmer/weed whipper. I wish there were 10" x 10' rolls, too.

I used it for a border window wells and flower beds.It's not as wide as the one I had, but it still does the same thing. It looks good easy to put done and keeps the weed out.
