It really brings out the creative side. It makes for a great birthday or Christmas gift for kids or adults of any age. It is also awesome how many pieces come in the box. I think a 5 year old (the recommended starting age) would struggle with building the figures because it does seem a bit challenging. The directions are similar to LEGO, in the sense that it tells you what pieces you need for each step. My daughter loves the bright colors that came with this set and had fun putting together a couple of the figures. I received an incentive to write this review.

We had a smaller set of these building toys but it didn’t have instructions on how to build things. The instructions on this were a bit complicated at first but we kept trying and they started making sense. We both got into this activity and it was a bonding experience! Highly recommend. My granddaughter is almost 11 years old and she had fun building things. It’s not for little children because pieces are very small. Great for kids to learn about the animals are how to build them with the pieces. Comes with instructions on how to build 6 different animals. Pieces are small so make sure your child doesn’t choke on them or put them in their mouth. Colors are also very cool as this one comes in bright neon colors which I loved. If your kids are into legos then this is defiantly another option to keep your kids entertained for hours. This set has over two hundred pieces and comes with a base plate to assist in building your pets. It has primary colors that work well for creating pets. And also I taught her about different animals while building them in a fun way. This is very good for kids motor activity as this gave my daughter control over her finger to put the legos in place as well as give her opportunity to think outside the box and have fun while doing this.
