Q: Do the pillows fit in twin xl pillow cases?
A: No, I think it would be a quite of a squeeze to get it in to a twin pillow case because this is a standard queen size pillow. Measure the twin pillow case and check if it's at least 20" 's wide.

Q: can these squeese into smaller pilowcases?

Yes, plush pillows can usually be squeezed into slightly smaller pillowcases, especially if the pillowcase is just a little smaller, due to their soft and compressible nature; however, it might not look as full and could potentially lose some of its plushness depending on how much smaller the pillowcase is.
