Q: Is this from Target directly or from one of their 3rd party reseller?

submitted by T - 4 months ago
  • A: When i ordered a few boxes it came in a normal case box with the inventory label without stop tape. The label said for walmart on it.

submitted byJT - 3 months ago
  • A: target is the seller

submitted byfuhreal - 3 months ago
  • A: Target sells it directly but be wary of this box, it’s a repackage and I’ve personally received fake cards. Beware Excell Games

submitted byConcerned Customer - 3 months ago
  • A: Amazing set!! Not sure why people are saying it’s resealed? I went to Target in store to pick it up myself and they were legit sets. Amazing pack pulls including a Hisuian Zoroark V-Star, and an Aerodactyl V-Star too. In a span of 20 minutes, I saw 3 different dads come in and buy out all the stock. Great value and great buy! I would go in person to pick up if concerned about fake sets.

  • A: I think its 3rd party. Ive seen on FB groups saying to avoid this product. It appears resealed.

Summary of reviews

The product has received overwhelmingly negative feedback from guests, primarily due to issues with resealed booster packs and misleading descriptions. Many guests reported that the packs were tampered with, containing backwards code cards and missing guaranteed hits. The discrepancy in the number of packs, with many receiving only four instead of the advertised six, has also contributed to dissatisfaction. Guests are advised to be cautious and consider alternatives before purchasing this item.

The product was resealed and the packs were sticky with whatever they resealed them with. Cards inside the packs were backwards and upside down and a card was missing from each pack

Absolutely resealed packs - 2 months ago, Verified purchaser
I'm mad that I can't give this zero stars It is almost impossible to even find packs to pull in my area so when my buddy and I walked into Target late Monday night, we were ecstatic to see 15 of these boxes on the shelf. He bought four and I bought eleven (close to $300). We're not scalpers, we had the full intention of opening all of the boxes and packs and that's what we did. Every single pack opened with almost no effort - like ripping through tissue paper. Somehow, my buddy did not notice any of the discrepencies in his four boxes but when it came time to open mine, it was clear. Again, all of the packs opened way too easy to be a factory seal. The very first box had an extra promo card inserted with it, which is cool but unfortunately gave me a false sense of optimism of what was to come. Multiple packs had code cards inserted upside down, the code card theory of black=hit absolutely did not apply at all, multiple packs had too many cards of them, I had one pack where a card in the middle was facing the wrong way of all the others, and about 8 instances of incorrect or impossible card order - where after doing the pack opening card shuffle, the reverse holo card should preceed the "hit" spot - there should never be a reverse holo behind the reverse holo. This occurred more than any other discrepency which is clearly indicitive to me of the packs being opened, the hit card removed and clumsily replaced with another reverse holo or more likely a common. I understand the hit rates for thes two sets in particular (Lost Origin and Fusion Strike) are abysmal, but this is just not right - We filmed a few pack openings after it was getting beyond a coincidence that showed these issues. I accepted the risk of combatting legitimate pull rates, but I did not accept the risk of having no chance to pull anything I was looking for - this has to be a crime by either Target or the distributor and it needs to be made right

So I just got this box from the shelf of my local target thinking "hey there's finally some product left!" Until I opened the box along with a grafaiai and a palifin box and had RESEALED packs in it! I opened these yesterday and reached out to target about this and was basically told oh well. APPARENTLY they do not take responsibility for resealed products and you have to contact the distro that supplied it. Here's the thing though. TARGET YOU ARE AT FAULT JUST AS MUCH AS THE DISTRO IS!!! YOU know about this being an issue and continue to allow it to happen! This box and the other 2 didn't have a sticker on the back saying it was from a 3rd party. I demand a full refund on these 3 purchases as I have reason to believe these cards are fake and the packs were resealed! Look at my side by side comparison of the back of the graded card compared to one from these packs. The quality of the card MUCH lighter in color. This is ridiculous I guess you can't even trust going to big box stores now either. Not like I enjoy giving them my business to begin with.

Great pulls, everyone is overreacting on the seals, I grabbed my directly from the vendor. They come every week to the store and is friendly, I'd admit the seals look like low quality but they are legit. Even took mine to a few shops and they all confirmed the cards are real. So do what you will.

Was scared to get these per the reviews. I have opened a lot of sword and shield and these were the same quality as before. These packs have always been lower quality. I’ve opened probably 200+ fusion packs and I finally have an alt gengar from opening only one of these boxes. Worth the risk in my eyes!

Booster Packs are resealed inside the package. Target will not do anything for you either when you mention the reviews and send photos of the packs inside. You could see the packs were ripped from the outside of the box. DO NOT BUY.

The packs were so obviously resealed. Not one pack was Ok. Code cards in the wrong spot… cards upside down, or backwards… one end of one of the packs was actually totally opened/unsealed (time for a new crimper to whoever is in charge or resealing these). One pack had 14 cards in it! All were commons, lmao. I did order some shrouded fable boxes that came with these Kleavor boxes and those were fine, so hopefully whoever is doing this shady stuff isn’t allowed near the other pokemon in the warehouse.

I've never left a product review before. These boxes (which I purchased at my local target) are definitely resealed or some kind of shenanigans are going on. Every pack opens like no other packs I've ever opened. There's upside down/backwards cards. There's just too much going on for it to be a normal factory error. Especially when you see everybody online saying the same thing.

These were very clearly resealed once you open the pack you can immediately realize. The packs were half open at the edges and the cards themselves were DIRTY. DO NOT BUY! I was hoping that the reviews were fake so I bought a box to test it out because I wanted to try out my luck on fusion strike. The reviews are telling the truth!

I ordered these online, and had it shipped to my house. The packs were easier to tear open and one pack had 2 of the live game cards. But everything was there and got some good pulls from my single box. I can’t speak to the quality/trustworthiness of this item if you buy it in store like other reviews say, but purchasing online was an overall positive experience and I would buy it again.

SCAM DO NOT BUY I went into my local target and bought these off the shelf, the company selling these are resealing the packs, the packs feel off, the cards shift around the pack with ease, the packs tear open with the slightest touch and worst of all I saw the crimping of the pack on the top where you can see they resealed the top of the pack, IDK HOW TARGET SELLS THIS

Ehhhhh.... So I ordered this before reading the reviews and initially thought it was joever and i was cooked. Everyone talking about it being resealed and how it's a scam. I ordered 3 boxes (so 12 packs total: 6 fusion, and 6 lost origin). All fusion strike packs did not have a hit what so ever. All white code cards for fusion strike. However.... the lost origin packs all had black code cards and all packs of lost origin had a hit inside. Could these packs be resealed? I mean maybe but we won't ever know. I will say though the code cards were all flipped on the wrong side when i opened these packs which was weird. Yeah definitely felt weird opening these but I'll take my luck and keep it pushin. Y'all be easy.
