Ordered book online since it wasn’t available at the local Target. Batteries were dead. My kids were disappointed they couldn’t hear the sounds and then I had to spend $6 buying batteries. Very annoying. Wish I would have ordered the book from somewhere else.

We love so many of the Eric Carle books I wanted to get one that was a little bit different. My toddler loves ot press the sounds and it adds some variety to our book reading experience. The book is nice and sturdy with beautiful illustrations.

This is unfortunately the worst sound book we own. The sounds are not only SUPER loud, each one is absolutely jarring and horrible. Have you ever heard a snake roar like a bear? This one does. Even the animal sounds that are accurate are just so unpleasant to listen to. It's like a joke!

The animal sounds aren’t great. There are a few that sounds exactly the same and nothing like the animal they are supposed to sound like.

I bought this book as a gift for a one-year-old. As a former English teacher, I love to give books as gifts. I think the book is wonderful, and the animal sounds really add to the experience of reading. I think he'll enjoy it!
